Went here for dinner after a 50 mile day in the saddle, including Alpe D'Huez. Glad we got there…read moreright as they opened as it filled fast. We each ordered the priz fixe 28€ option; we each got onion soup; which was different from the one in Paris, but equally good. Emmentaler chews in place of grueyer; and the broth tasted almost mushroom-like. We added on 6 escargot; served out of the shell in butter and parsley; classic and delicious. Aimée had the mushroom ravioli, served in a crock dish; the sauce/cheese was sweet and flavorful; more ravioli pieces than entire ravioli; I had the fish of the day; sea bass with a vegetable sauce that had a deep flavor; came with cooked local in season vegetables, a perfect accompaniment. Aimée had the strawberry soup for dessert; came in a sundae dish with what appeared to be gelato in the middle; wonderful, tart. I had the local dessert as recommended by our waiter; walnut pie with chartreuse ice cream. The rich pie, with walnuts was offset by the ice cream in the most wonderful way. Our waiter was excellent; great recommendations, even though they were very busy he kept up and had a great attitude. Highly recommend - will be back if in Grenoble again

We were given delicious palate-cleansers of grapefruit and orange steeped in vodka (as shots). Such a lovely surprise! It's a very small, cozy place with attentive staff and très aimable atmosphère! The food is great not just because you're France but because of the high standards of their products! Fresh and natural. The wine price was also fair. Also I love restaurants where before they serve you the desert they cleanup the crumbs of the table. Another plus is that after the desert they brought us a digestive (limoncello) with a wip cream with lime... Two thumbs up!!

Unfortunately, while the service is still great, the food is just not as good as it used to be. ATMOSPHERE/DECO Typical Alps/mountain décor, the restaurants decoration is very cool with ski, old farming equipment on the wall. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Lot of windows and light. SERVICE Very friendly and fast, our waitress was also funny and helpful. They have several wait staff speaking foreign languages as well. PRICE Price was good for the area. Dinner for 4 with drinks and wine was under $150. FOOD Sadly, it was not as good as it used to be. While my go to order, hanger steak with morel sauce was still excellent (and I highly recommend it), my dad and brother fondue was just not good at all. Not very cheesy and taste like cornstarch (or other thickener agent), the charcuterie plate for the fondue was ridiculously small with sub-par quality meats. Dessert was also not as good as in the past, the profiteroles puff pastry was likely frozen and harder than I like. The ice cream, chocolate sauce and whipped cream on top were excellent. MISCELLEANOUS There is no parking close by so keep that in mind. They do have English speaking staff and I do believe I saw an English menu. They do have AC but it's not very strong (at least for Americans lol). Bathroom was clean. La note de Sebo Atmosphere/Deco 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 3.5/5 Price 4.5/5 Misc. 5/5 OVERALL 4/5

TL;DR: Loved raclette so much I came back twice in a week :)…read moreFair warning, this is a slightly biased review as this was my first taste of this new eating experience that is raclette Our table ordered the raclette (min 2 people) and each of our plates included charcuterie, some boiled/steamed potatoes (communal), and a green salad (communal) ...and of course...the raclette! The charcuterie meats were nice thin cuts with great flavor and the smokiness paired super well with the melty salty cheese along with the soft pillowy potatoes Scraping the heated melty cheese onto the plate and quickly enjoying the combination of flavors, temperatures, and textures was so exciting and fun! The wine (Crozes-Hermitage for local regional wine) was excellent, as well Santé, Dédé!
