I am honored to write a review for Jamie Paine (as well as her paralegal Tracy Spiegal and Griffiths Law). I contacted Jamie after working with another law firm that unfortunately let me down. From the first meeting with Jamie I knew that I was in the right hands. She was honest, caring, and gave me a true understanding of what we were up against. Unfortunately, my ex had hired an attorney that is notorious for making issues worse and creating a lot of turmoil during litigation. Instead of caving to this attorney, Jamie took her head on and did not let her bully me. She advocated for me when I wanted to give up. Ultimately, they saved me from having to turn over very privileged medical information that would have caused irreparable harm. I truly felt like I was important and that they wanted what was best for my child and myself. I never felt that my money was being used in frivolous ways and Jamie was extremely cognizant of the money I was spending. Even two weeks before trial, Jamie was still trying to settle so we didn't have to go to a hearing. She fought harder and more fearlessly than I could have imagined; however, Jamie did it was grace, morals, and ethics, even when opposing counsel was cruel for no apparent reason. Jamie is the attorney you want in your corner. She has immense knowledge surrounding the law and I never questioned her judgement. She is the attorney you want fighting for you and your children when you think everything is broken. She is the best attorney and should I ever need another attorney in the future she will be my first phone call. Jamie is who you want on your side when going through a divorce or parental allocation. I can't say enough about this firm! If you have an out of state Order and need help with a modification - read this!! Jennifer Schaffner is the best attorney I've ever worked with. She is incredibly responsive (nights, weekends, middle of the day, holidays), able to quickly file and respond to filing and negotiations. Our case was highly emotional and highly academic. We had a GA Order, sued in CO and then moved in the middle of the case to FL, which resulted in a mess of jurisdiction and substantive law issues. Jennifer spent hours researching and countless phone calls and emails trying to strategize to get the best and "right" results for our family. Also, because the opposing party was difficult to deal with she often times resolved issues with opposing counsel. After a year long battle, we achieved the outcome we had hoped for and the judge agreed with all of our arguments because of the legal backing. I was in a desperate situation fighting a complicated civil litigation against me in Colorado federal court. I was remarkably scared when I started my divorce. I was 22, soon to be 23, and I had no clue what to do. Kim was a human first, lawyer second.
