He is incredibly knowledgeable and well-versed in his field. Working with both Nathan and his paralegal Morgan will not let you down because they are both very communicative and efficient. I'm very happy that I made the proper decision in selecting the right person to help me through my dealings.

Nathan M.J. Dowell was amazing. Very prepared and left no stone unturned. His process, research,…read moreand knowledge helped me with a contentious divorce. Nathan understood my priorities and made the process fluid and ensured the settlement was fair and streamlined for me to relocate out East within two months of filing. My son is on the spectrum, Nathan was mindful of his needs and ensured all were addressed within the parenting agreement. Nathan and Morgan's organization, transparency as to the process and expectations helped ease my anxieties and kept me focused on realistic outcomes. I was never in the dark about the process and potential outcomes. Realistic expectations were and are important to me as a mom and primary care taker. Nathan outlined everything for me, I have been divorced two years now and am still confident to this day that any issue I might run into can be dealt with swiftly and fairly with Nathan and Morgan in my corner. Highly recommend this team for your divorce and parenting agreement needs.

Please heed my warning... Do not hire them! I beg you...do not!!!!…read more They will drag your case on to deplete your retainer. The retainer is $4000.00... they will max it out and will always leave you a balance due; and once you pay that bill off and restore that $4000 retainer, they will keep doing it again. SO example...retainer is $4000 but they deplete it all the time and leave you with a balance due whatever amount; example.... balance due of $1200 which means you paid $5200 and then they will tell you, you need to replenish the $4000 retainer again. When I hired them, I gave them a retainer of $4000 and I also put in, I believe, an additional $13,000 to make the retainer $17,000... in less than 3 weeks. they spent it all! I hired them in August 2025...by the end of that month, all that money was depleted and was left with an outstanding balance and asked to also restore the $4000 retainer. One example that shows how corrupt they are, especially the Lawyer, Steven Hill, is when I was told I needed to put in $12,000 in the retainer in order to fight for custody for my daughter because my then wife's affair partner assaulted my daughter. Mr. Hill said that in order to fight for her when we appear before the judge, I need to put in $12,000 in the retainer. I had to borrow money from the bank to do this. So, the retainer had over $2,000 left (I believe) in addition to the $12,000 that was added. Well, Lawyer Steven Hill and his paralegal Johanna treated the retainer like it was a free for all and made up all these charges to spend all that money in that retainer... they spent over $14,000 in less than 4 days. They did not use that money for what it was intended for. Hill charged me $1800 to file paperwork and most of the charges according to them was "read communication of client, talked to client, etc. (This was in October 2025). The initial status conference was in October 2025 to talk to the judge. The judge was pi$$ed and asked why things are being done so late...mediation, court, etc.... she accused Steven Hill of dragging it on to rip the clients off money!! That should have tipped me off when the judge said that! But this same month in October 2025 was when Hill and his paralegal, Johanna, spent $14,000 in less than 4 days and this money was supposed to be used to represent me when we went before the judge. And they depleted it! I spent over $40,000 on my divorce; My ex got everything she wanted... alimony, half my 401K, more than half the equity from the sale of my house.... It never made it to court because these people would deplete the retainer and leave me a balance due after the fact. Hill would tell me, in order to go to court, I need to put another $10,000 to go to court and see the judge. This meant that I would have spent over $50,000 on this divorce. I hired them in August 2025 and they dragged it on to the end of November 2025. **That whole time, I asked and inquired when is mediation? When are we going to talk to the judge.... Hill would tell me mediation would be in November2025 and it was August 2025 when I asked this. People were telling me, this firm is trying to rip you off... I didn't listen! From the get go, my divorce was not fair... my ex only provided 2 months of pay statement while Hill and paralegal Johanna made me provide anything and everything to my ex's lawyer. She stole money from our joint account, I gave Mr. Hill proof, he told me in order to get her to provide statements, 401k, etc....that I need to be charged "discoveries" but yet when my ex's lawyer wanted something.... 401k statements, wage statement, etc....Mr. Hill and Johanna made me provide it to my ex's lawyer. Seems like they were helping my ex and her lawyer more than they helped me Oh yeah... they say oin their website they do military discounts...they never did. They made me sign something saying they would provide a military discount, but I noticed on the invoice there was no discount at all. When I told the firm about it, they told me to read the document I signed. **They had me believing that they were going to take good care of me and give me a discount so I didnt go to any other firm...they misrepresented themselves about that. **Also, when my divorce was fianlized in November 2025, Mr. Hill told me, his services with me are done but then in December 2025, I get a message from the paralegal, Johanna, to validate my financial statement. I told her what is the meaning of this? Because my divorce was finalized the previous month?!! I had to tell her this. I get a bill from the law firm for services after my divorce in December! Hil lied and I called him out on it! I told him to cease and desist. Fast forward to February 2026.... I tried to talk to my case worker regarding alimony and child support... she told me she couldnt talkt o me because I am still being represented by Mr. Hill. I told them it was a mistake...she told me, it is not a mistake. Mr. Hill did not do a Letter of Withdrawal!
