After I returned the vehicle (after-hours), I was later informed that there was a stone chip on the windshield. The charge was applied without any prior notice or proof that the damage occurred during my rental period. I asked repeatedly for photo evidence or check-in documentation showing the damage, but they admitted they do not take pictures of stone chips. Without any clear proof or timestamped inspection, I have no way to verify that I was actually responsible for the damage. Their response was dismissive, and the tone in the final email came across as quite rude and unwilling to help. I understand that rental companies need to protect their vehicles, but this process felt unfair and unprofessional. I would strongly caution others to thoroughly document the car's condition before and after your rental -- especially if you're returning it outside business hours.

We booked the car online and arranged for the drop off to be in the Calgary location. It was all done very efficiently and smoothly. The vehicle was quite new and it was clean. No issue. I would suggest to check how the car works since many cars are now with push button engine start and keyless. Plus to find out where the lights and indicators and wiper buttons are. That was our mistake as we didn't realize it was not automatic headlights so we were driving without them turned on when it got dark. Luckily many motorists alerted us on the small highway heading towards Calgary. We managed to figure out the issue when we pulled into a gas station. This is a decent and reputable car rental place. You can earn points too.

Last week while in Edson I took my Edge in to have warranty work done. The Service Manager, Greg waited patiently for me after hours then took the time to drive with me to listen to some noises. Greg offered me a courtesy car and ensured I was well taken care of from start to finish. I crossed paths with James, when I picked up my Edge. James was literally leaving for the day but didn't hesitate to take time to sit down and look at options for a trade in. Back and forth we sorted out a deal but I was already home. Without a fuss my new car was driven all the way from Edson to me with a full tank of gas I highly recommend Jerry Ford in Edson.
