Faye Payne was the tax Preparer for my family for years. She was supposed to file a family member's…read moretaxes for the year 2022, however she accepted the check for her work "done" and filed the documents in her filing cabinet instead of submitting the documents to the IRS on 04/18/2023. When the IRS confronted my family member in June; We then contacted Faye Payne in order to see where the issue was made. After she honestly stated she made the mistake, that she would take the penalty due to her mess-up.
