I wasn't sure what finish to have on my floors, so I did research and decided on water based finish. Juan helped me decide what sealer/stain to put on my floors. It took them 5 days to install the new wood on about 250 sq ft, then sanding it all down with my existing floors, approximatly 1400 sq ft., and sealing and putting on 2 coates of finish. I was very fortunate during the current construction conditions (post covid delays etc) that Bradford was able to fit me in to a three day window the week following their bid as they had an opening that could accommodate our project. He helped us find the width and color of wood plank we were interested in. We went with a 7" wide white oak and love the way it turned out. They laid down samples of all stain/sealer options we were interested in so we could see them and choose before re-sanding them out and finishing the whole floor with the one we liked best. We liked the raw wood color before anything was applied. So, we opted for a white stain and matte sealer and the finished product looks almost exactly like the raw wood. We opted to have the baseboards removed and reinstalled and those look good too. Overall, I would highly recommend Brendan and his company Rocky Mountain Flooring & More.
