We selected Dover Essex in truffle color and you can't find this beautiful cabinet color anywhere else. They are easy to communicate with and they respond in a timely manner. In creating our beautiful kitchen they also gave great suggestions such as open shelving to open the space to the left of the hood vent and a waterfall countertop that adds a classy look. I've dealt with four or five shops in the past back in NY so I was familiar with pricing and the process already and felt very good about this place after going in to view samples. They came out right away after we submitted our deposit to template and didn't even require the old counters to be off in order to do so- awesome so we didn't have to go without counters and a sink for any amount of time between template and install!! They came back the following week to install. It was a very fast and efficient process. Everyone we dealt with from Crystal in the office to the template man to the installers were timely, friendly and helpful. We are very happy with the quality of the work done and were especially thrilled they were able to make the large sink area in one cut with no seams. I'd recommend this shop to anyone!

They had a large selection of remnants we made our choice on a Monday and by Friday they installed our countertops and they look great. The crew that did the installation was very professional, clean, and very fast. They even gave us some advice on countertops that we are going to replace in the very near future. If you are looking for someone with reasonable pricing (by the way) they were about a third less than anyone else, fast service, and great service these are the people you need to deal with.

We left our contact information and scheduled an appointment for measurement and free estimate. Pete (owner) and Denise (designer) arrived to check out our kitchen and discuss options. He took all the needed measurements and a week or so later we had an estimate. The estimate was right in line with what we were expecting for the remodel. We got a few estimates but I really liked the personalities of Pete and his employees and liked that it was a local business who did everything. I wouldn't need to play contractor with Corbella. It took two meetings to finalize the design and choose the cabinets, floors, fixtures, etc. paperwork was signed and a deposit made. Construction is never perfect - we had to choose a new faucet. Certain cabinets were too large so the change delayed our start by a week. But all in all, the process was good. In 2.5 weeks, the kitchen was demolished and back to a fully working state. Through various stages, the workers tried their best to minimize dust by putting up plastic sheeting. They always swept and vacuumed at the end of the day. They tried their best and it helped but construction will always have dust. Some changes were made as we went along: a vent had to be moved, a light fixture needed to change, the tile guy made a mistake but it was quickly fixed once I saw it. Normal stuff. Denise and Pete periodically check in on progress. The project manager would call me each evening to tell me who was coming and when to expect them the next day. One change was made that gave us a $600 credit - I didn't know the change would have even resulted in less labor charges but Pete and his crew are honest. This was a full gut job - appliances were moved, walls and soffits were removed, wiring and water lines were moved. But at the end of our remodel, we had a beautiful brand new kitchen. The house feels so much more open and it truly looks like a magazine. I absolutely love our finished kitchen. We're hoping to use Corbella again once we can remodel a bathroom and I have recommended them to a number of friends.

As a long overdue follow up to my earlier review, I made a disturbing discovery shortly after that…read morewas written. Someone was doing a routine termite check under my house and alerted me to something being very wrong with plumbing connected to new bathroom. It was a quick unprofessional job that would never have passed a proper inspection. It also did not have necessary protection from toxic sewer fumes that could enter through shower drain. I called my plumber who took pictures and confirmed the work was completely unacceptable and even dangerous. Called ReBath who said they would send someone to correct work but I insisted I use my own trusted plumber. After some back and forth with ReBath, they agreed to reimburse me for corrective work. I still need to contact them to fine tune some of interior work but continue to put that off because I am uncomfortable having them back in my home. I know I need to give them the opportunity to make it all right, but fear I'm not someone they don't want to hear from.

Simply put, this company doesn't accept responsibility and doesn't have any accountability for their own employees or sub contractors' mistakes or actions. There is zero quality control, unless managed completely by you, the home owner, and stay on top of the work daily. Due to a scheduling error by Prolific, our very expensive cabinetry was delivered weeks early and sat in a hot and humid environment which is horrible for them. Also, the home wasn't even locked at this point, forcing me the owner to go out and buy temporary locks to protect my investment, something that I firmly believe they should have been accountable for. The cabinet installer then quit near the end of the install never to be seen again and all I heard was him complaining the whole time about Prolific's lack of communication and poor scheduling. Midway through the project, the tile crew Prolific chose was excused and replaced due to shoddy and unacceptable work. The next tile crew damaged our very expensive countertops by leaving their tools and tiles on them, causing permanent scuffs and deep, visible lines in the brand new granite. At first Prolific said they would get it taken care of. Then after many months of having to pursue them, we were told an appointment was scheduled for the granite to be fixed. That date came and went and nobody ever showed up. Now, despite initially admitting to fault Prolific won't even acknowledge my messages and has forgotten to follow through on their commitment to make it right. They flat out lied. No appointment was ever made with the granite repair company because they had no intention on manning up! They will be the first to show up and take your check, but in the end, they will leave you hanging with feelings of regret that you gave them your hard earned money. Their inability to communicate to my builder and their tile and granite crews almost delayed certificate of occupancy on our home. Thankfully our builder was able to use his connections to make things happen when Prolific couldn't finish the job. The only positive thing I can say is that when it came to design they were patient, professional and knowledgeable. The execution however was just a disjointed nightmare. There are many other reasons why we wish we could go back in time and hire another company, but this is long enough. In conclusion, if you would like a teammate that will run the ball 99 yards and then just quit and walk away with zero conscience, Prolific is the business for you. Seriously, think about this. To fix my granite, it would cost a few hundred bucks. Instead, they chose to give me no other choice but to share my dissatisfaction with the world? Makes zero business sense. I should have listened to all the other similarly worded reviews before hiring them. My bad. Hopefully you will learn from my mistake."

Contracted with them to renovate our shower and replace bathroom counters. - Overpriced for what we received. - Their subcontractors are ridiculously overpriced...by hundreds of dollars. - Promised a project manager to be present each step of the process, but he was rarely present, was unavailable, or didn't know the answer. When subcontractor didn't show up...he said "they didn't?". -- Isn't knowing where your guys are located number one in construction project management? - They are unethical in the sense they promise and promise, but in the end do not deliver on said promises. -- We spoke solely about having frameless glass shower doors. Ended up with a framed door and then were told we are to blame for not understanding the contract. -- The owner, Jack, made it our issue because we trusted the vernacular of the contract meant what his employees and subcontractor said it meant when we discussed our requirements dozens of times. (it's like being told you are getting a pepperoni pizza but the contract says meat while trusting that meant pepperoni). -- Project Manager wasn't there for glass measurements. I was going to give two stars because, in the end, the project was done with the glass being the only real aesthetic sticking point, but Jack said he would get with the glass contractor to try and find a remedy...never heard from him. Sealed the one star from me. Bottom line: This company is poorly run, unorganized, and when faced with an issue that was ethically their fault, they wouldn't remedy it to our satisfaction AFTER being overpaid for what can only be described as OK work. There are dozens of places that cost the same or less in Jacksonville. Go anywhere else. If not, you will most likely be disatisfied. Terrible experience.
