If EMF's don't bother you, enjoy the convenient location, the fairly clean (old, but acceptable) bathrooms/shower house & full hookups. There's even a small pool the kids enjoyed. We had a tent site & our trailer. The downside was that they didn't turn off the sprinklers, so at 1:30 AM they sprayed the tents, soaking them for 1/2 hour. All in all we enjoyed our trip, but had to go home to recover.

The grounds were fine, but the incident…read morethat occurred at Juniper Campground in Ririe, Idaho, on the evening of Saturday, September 13, 2025 left a very bitter taste in our mouths about the trip. What was intended to be a joyful family outing turned into a distressing experience due to the conduct of the camp host. My father-in-law and his wife had made a reservation at Juniper Campground for the weekend and invited my family to join them--myself, my two sons, and our grandchildren. We were all excited to spend quality time together and to try out our newly purchased travel trailers. As first-time trailer owners, this was meant to be a fun and educational experience before the camping season ended. Unfortunately, I had previously purchased concert tickets for an event at Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls scheduled for Saturday evening. My sons and I decided to briefly leave the campground to attend the concert and return afterward. We left in the early evening and returned around 10:20 PM. Upon arrival, we found the second entry gate--through which we had originally entered--locked with a padlock. We then drove to the first gate, which had rising arms and red LED lights, but it did not respond. I exited the vehicle to search for an intercom or manual override, but found none. While attempting to look up a contact number, a white truck with an orange cone in the back approached rapidly. The driver, who identified himself as the camp host, immediately confronted me in an aggressive and profane manner. He shouted, "What the hell are you doing at my gate?" I calmly explained that we were campers returning from a concert and were trying to re-enter the campground. He responded with hostility, saying, "The gates are locked at 10 PM. Didn't you read the rules?" I replied that we had not received any rules, as my 78-year-old father-in-law had checked in first and inadvertently failed to pass them along while we were focused on setting up our trailers. The host continued to berate me, accusing me of lying and using profanity such as "Bullsh*t, everybody receives the rules." When asked for our campsite number, I was momentarily unsure, as my father-in-law had directed us to our spot upon arrival. While I searched for the information, the host continued to question our motives, saying, "Why are you leaving and returning to the campsite this time of night?" I explained our concert plans, only to be met with further disbelief and ridicule. He mocked my Van Halen t-shirt and claimed, "Nobody goes camping to leave for a concert," and "Those bands sucked. The last time I saw Van Halen was in 1979." At this point, I attempted to clarify our situation, but the host warned me that if I raised my voice, he would not allow us back into the campground. After locating a screenshot of our reservation details, I showed it to him. He finally allowed us entry and handed me a printed copy of the rules, stating, "Next time, read the rules." This interaction left me feeling humiliated, belittled, and treated as though I were a criminal. The camp host's behavior was not only unprofessional but bordered on harassment. I understand the importance of rules and quiet hours, but they should be enforced with courtesy and respect--not hostility and profanity. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and will not be returning to Juniper Campground. I'm leaving this review to ensure others are aware of the treatment we received. Guests deserve to feel safe and welcomed--not intimidated or verbally abused.

He acted rude, confrontational, and even went so far as to call the police for no reason at all -- completely unnecessary and out of line. His behavior was weird and made me feel unwelcome and unsafe. I've stayed at plenty of Hampton Inns before and never had an issue, but this location needs serious attention from upper management. If this is how guests are treated, I'd strongly recommend staying somewhere else in Idaho Falls.

The pros.. this Hampton Inn has a well kept lobby, breakfast room and pool area. The breakfast was…read morepretty good and there is enough variety that everyone can find something to enjoy. The lobby is modern and clean and even lightly decorated for Halloween. The pool and hot tub are open 24 hours. The staff are all friendly. The cons.. The first person to shower had to use body wash for her hair because the very large bottle of shampoo that is provided in the shower was completely empty. We were able to have an employee up to our room about 10 minutes after the request who brought a bee bottle and replaced the empty one. The beds themselves were comfy. In fact that is why I booked the Hampton because they always have very comfortable beds. However, unfortunately our room seemed to have been skipped for clean sheets on both beds. One of our beds had a large amount of crumbs in at as well as what appeared to be dog hair. Very short, coarse dark hair all over the fitted sheet. My granddaughters bed also had a ton of crumbs and some disgusting chunks of something that looked similar to boogers and bloody boogers. We were in town to visit our adult children and grandchildren and by the time I realized this it was after midnight and we were too tired to take things up with the staff. Thankfully we brought our own blankets and pillows and laid on the top of all the covers. The top covers appeared cleaned and we got a good night's rest. It's disappointing that the Hampton in is employing people that have such standards as to skip one of the most important steps of the room cleaning process. We will most likely stay in a Hampton in the future but never in Idaho Falls again.

I recently flew in and out of Idaho Falls (via SLC). Flights were on time and on board crew were…read morefriendly. There's no service in economy, but if you're sitting in first there's a quick drink and snack service. I was fortunate to have gotten upgraded on both flights, so I definitely was not peckish or thirsty. Delta operates the Embraer 175 aircraft on this SLC-IDA route, meaning in first class, it's a 1-2 configuration, while in economy it's a 2-2 configuration. The Embraer plane is one of my favorite aircraft because there's no middle seat (despite it being a smaller aircraft). The on-ground experience was left much to be desired. The check in process was efficient, but a tad friendly with the counter staff seemed a bit robotic as if they wanted to shoo customers away as quickly as possible. Also, when I arrived in Idaho Falls Airport, my bag took a very long time to arrive - nearly 20 minutes. There weren't any other flights arriving at that time, but bags took longer to come out on the belt. So while the flights were on time and the in-flight experience was good, the other aspects (on ground within the airport) were subpar imo. So with that I give the Delta experience at Idaho Falls Airport a solid 3* rating taking into consideration both in flight and on ground experiences.
