One had to cancel us. Paintbrush Adventures called us back about 24 hours after we called and left a message. No problem there. We set up a ride for the 2 of us. We found the place with no problem. We were greeted by a lady and 3 teen aged girls who all went out on the ride with us. There were a few dozen horses in the corral that all looked good. Horses were quiet and calm. The ride was along the river and parallel to the road. The area was in a wooded lot. 30 acres MOL. Lots of dead trees. The river was a nice touch. We were disappointed when it was just trails in a dead wooded lot. Nothing terribly scenic. No hills, no mountain scenes. Not exactly the Montana experience we were expecting. Nothing like the pictures we saw here.

We decided to go to a ranch for a summer vacation with our family of 10. We were hoping for a…read moreworking vacation and of course having fun, our experience was 100 times better than we expected. We got a taste of what real farm life is like. The workers were incredible to the visitors and incredibly hard working. We rode horses for 3 days and saw some beautiful animals on our ride in the mountains and some amazing views. The cooking was incredible and our whole family enjoyed every second of the vacation. There was an activity for every kind of person. We also got to feed the animals in the morning and meet other animals from the ranch. The living conditions were great as well, every room was clean and spacious. This vacation was incredible in so many ways. We highly recommend this ranch to every family. So pretty! We went…read morefor a little trail hike around Natural Bridge and it was perfect. The area is very maintained and the vault toilets near the entrance were fairly clean (at least that's what my husband said). We hiked around the beginning of September so this is a bit overdue but the walk itself, the falls, and hearing the water flow through nature was incredible. It's a fairly easy trail if you have young children, we saw a few elderly folks walking through as well. When you're traveling through Montana's wilderness, always remember to respect the nature around you. Pack it in, pack it out. And don't forget your bear spray--it's grizzly country out here :)
