Sunny Cleaners - Little River Cleaners

I reviewed this as Little River Cleaners. The worst customer service ever. Clerk was rude asked…read morequestions irrelevant to our dry cleaning needs, was on the phone during my husbands visit. My husband brought a tux in for cleaning today. He needs it before we fly to NY. The clerk could not guarantee it would be back 8/31 which gave us little time till our flight. She rudely asked him why he needs a suit for a wedding? My husband politely told her we are going to a black tie wedding in NYC. Her nasty response was " who's gonna be there Cuomo". No dry cleaner should ask why someone needs to have something cleaned, and throw political comments into a simple dry cleaning request. I would give this -0 stars if possible. Never going there again totally disgusted.

I just moved from out of state to Little River and took 15 casual dress shirts in for pressing. I…read morespoke to the Little River "drop off" location and they told me $2.10 a shirt and to take them to their main facility. Got there and they were closed. Hours changed due to COVID but they didn't tell me even after I told them I would get here after 5pm. So the next day, when I dropped off the shirts, they took my info and that was it. They didn't mention pricing until I asked that the shirts will run me $2 for pressing, correct? The gentleman that took my info said oh no, it's $4 shirt because now they have to launder them due to the type of shirts. Reluctantly I left them because of my travel time and needing them pressed for work but also expecting to pay $4 a shirt for $60. A few days later, I went to pick up the shirts and the bill was over $75 ($5 a shirt). I was obviously confused since I verified the price when I dropped them off. Again, another excuse because some were Tommy B shirts and they require "special cleaning". Why didn't they look at the shirts first and tell me the correct prices? My bad for not making them do that...so buyer beware. . I will not use them nor recommend them to co workers or anyone else due to how they treated me and the fact they will not tell you how much until the work has been completed. Where I was before, they actually provide a written estimate, not here. So shame on me for being trusting and not asking for a written quote ....customers beware and go somewhere else

BRIDES BEWARE! Initially, Sam seemed wonderful to work…read morewith. After visiting several shops without finding what I wanted, she offered to create a custom gown exactly how I wanted it. She took all my measurements and said it should fit perfectly with little to no alterations. She advised me to monitor my weight and measurements, which I did. I was told it would be ready in approximately 7 months. That was July 2025. In February 2026, I contacted her for an update. She said the gown had arrived but she hadn't worked on it because she was busy with brides whose weddings were before mine. She finally contacted me in April to schedule a fitting. 4/21: The dress was WAY too big. At least 4-6" too wide and 2" too long. Sam claimed I'd lost 2" despite my weight being unchanged. Even if I'd lost weight, my height hadn't changed. I had also requested a specific cat-eye neckline and sent a reference photo at her request, but the gown had a rounded sweetheart neckline that looked nothing like it. She promised to fix everything, including the neckline, and I resent to reference photo. 7/15-8/6: I contacted her on 7/15 for an update because my bridal portraits were scheduled for 8/10 and received no response. On 7/16, I followed up and explained the urgency. She said she'd email the factory. This was the first I'd heard that the entire dress was being remade. On 8/2, I followed up again. She said she'd "just emailed them on Friday" and would update me ASAP. On 8/6, she said the dress would arrive 8/14 and asked me to reschedule my portraits. I requested a fitting on 8/16 or 8/17 but received no response. 8/17-8/18: I texted on 8/17 saying I'd never heard back and asking when I could come in. She said she was leaving the country in a few days and wouldn't return until 9/9. We scheduled a fitting for 9/14. On 8/18 I tested my concerns and requested a photo of the dress. The attached screenshots show the exchange. Her response was dismissive, she never replied to my last message, and I heard nothing further until the morning of my appointment. 9/14: I arrived and learned she hadn't actually gone on the trip. I'd already canceled my portraits and worked around her schedule. The neckline was still wrong. I wanted a V in the center with pointed ends, but it was straight across with no V. She had also changed the back without permission. It was supposed to have a zipper with buttons, but she replaced it with a corset. I cried and asked why she'd changed the back without consulting me. She blamed my supposedly fluctuating weight, which wasn't true and didn't explain why she'd chosen a corset. When I pointed out the neckline was still wrong, she argued that it was what I'd requested despite receiving reference photos twice. She eventually said, "fine, I'll fix it" defensively. I told her I needed the dress by 10/4 at the latest. 9/24: I asked to schedule a final fitting around 10/4 and whether the dress would be ready. She said it was already finished and she'd be away 10/3-10/6. She had never notified me it was ready. I asked about availability on 9/28 and got no response, so I booked through her website myself. 9/28: The neckline had been altered and the original zipper and buttons restored. However, the dress no longer fit. After being made smaller to accommodate the corset I never asked for, it was not about an inch too small and wouldn't zip completely. Her only response was "I told you it would be tight." 5 weeks until my wedding, I was left needing to lose at least 5 lbs in hopes of fitting into my gown. 10/16: With only 3 weeks until my wedding, I noticed dog and cat hair on the dress, along with a disgusting yellow stain that I can only hope isn't urine! I never got to take my bridal portraits. Throughout this experience, there has been no accountability and no apology. After months of delays, unauthorized design changes, poor communication, and now a stained dress, I am devastated by the experience. I will never recommend this business to anyone! Not worth the $4640!

Sunny Cleaners - VERY VISIBLE unremovable bar code on newly dry cleaned jacket

I have been going here for several years only because of the convenience of the location. However,…read moreI have been unhappy with their services for awhile. Frequently, I will go to pick up the clothes after the communicated pick-up time, which I always verify at drop-off, and not all of the clothes are ready. As a result, many times I must make repeated trips. Additionally, one of my boyfriend's irreplaceable 100% silk Tommy Bahama shirts that he had purchased a few years ago on vacation was lost. For 3 weeks, I followed up and escalated the issue to the managers. Granted, they did make some phone calls trying to locate it and even offered to pay us for the missing shirt, but it was very upsetting since it wasn't something that you could easily replace. Because one day I just happened to speak with a lady who remembered us previously using their other location, she made a phone call to the other store and located the shirt. I understand mistakes can happen, however, it does not help that I feel very unwelcome when I walk into the store. The employees don't smile, and they don't say hello to you unless you speak to them first. At times, they are outside smoking and seemed bothered that you interrupted their break. There was even at least one occasion where the lady was on her cell for a personal phone call and finished her call before even acknowledging that I was standing right there in front of her. The last straw for me was the other day when I walked in, and the lady very unapologetically informed me that their credit card machine wasn't working, warranting another wasted trip to the store once again. I plan to find a new location.

What happened to putting a pinned, REMOVABLE tag on clothing at the dry cleaners? I am truly shocked that they do not at the very minimum ask customer consent.
