In the prior several years, I've never had to clean it, of course for a little dust, but never for what burns on the inside of the fireplace and that is no longer the case almost weekly. I have to really not only use specialized cleaners to get the chemicals off the inside of the glass fireplace, but I also have to know use razors to scrape some of it off. It's so resin heavy. I have no idea what has caused this other than the type of wood, the curing of the wood or how wet the wood is, but at this point, I cannot recommend this service or can I use it again? It's unfortunate, but I will look for a better service and really test of what I actually even have a wood test meter now for water for a liquid, which I never needed it in the past.

They made some good recommendations on trees and plants and we spent thousands of dollars on the materials and the labor. Problem: there were two snow fountain cherry trees they planted in the backyard that were right up against the house. While the workers were here we asked them THREE TIMES to NOT plant the trees too close to the house and to move them away. Despite our multiple requests they continued on with their work and assured us it would be no problem to move the trees in the spring if we were unhappy. When the trees started growing right into our house they told me to prune the side closest to the house which made the trees look lopsided. In the spring I asked them to come take a look and make good on their promise to move the trees- I assumed this would be at no charge. The guy who came out said it would cost another $800 to move the trees- this after they told us it wouldn't be a problem to move them! I don't think it's a good practice to not do a good job the first time and then try to charge customers to fix the problem later.

After I read YELP reviews I decided to give Sandoval a try to prune approximately 18 trees on my property and to take down a severely damaged one. Leonel looked over my property. We liked him immediately and decided that we wanted Sandoval for the job. These guys are FABULOUS! They arrived on time and each worker did his job. At the end of the day, my lawn looked beautiful. They chipped, raked and blew all debris away. The workers were all professional, friendly, hard-working and a pleasure to have on my property. The guys cleaned up a few branches that fell onto the Town of New Canaan property. The Director of Parks and Recreation even sent me an email saying that they did a very nice job cleaning up the branches. We are so happy with the job that they did that we asked them to do more work for us in November. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I had already done business here and was actually preparing to come back for another large landscaping project. I was planning on purchasing approximately $30,000 worth of additional plants, trees, and landscaping materials. Unfortunately, after dealing directly with the owner, I have completely changed my mind and will be taking that business somewhere else. The biggest issue was the owner's attitude and lack of professionalism. He was extremely rude, dismissive, and offered very little useful direction or guidance. When someone comes into a nursery looking to make a substantial purchase, especially for a large project, you would expect the owner to have enough common sense to understand the importance of customer service. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I simply expected basic respect, reasonable communication, and some knowledgeable direction regarding the products I was looking to purchase. Instead, the experience made me feel as though my business wasn't wanted or appreciated. Running a successful business isn't only about having good plants and trees. It's also about how you treat the people who walk through your door. Customers have choices, and when someone is prepared to spend tens of thousands of dollars with your company, treating them rudely is a quick way to lose that business. There are plenty of reputable nurseries in Connecticut and the surrounding area that offer quality plants and trees and understand how to treat their customers professionally. I would much rather spend my money with a business that appreciates the opportunity and is willing to provide proper service and guidance. I was prepared to spend another $30,000 here, but after this experience, that money will be going to another nursery. Sometimes good customer service and basic respect are worth more than anything else a business can offer.
