Overall, the session lacked proper technique, body awareness, and professional boundaries. I did not feel at ease during the massage and couldn't wait for it to end. I was considering asking him to stop and leaving, and now I really wish I had. Clients should be able to trust that they are in safe, skilled hands, and that was not my experience. I hope the business takes this seriously and addresses training and client safety. If this therapist is new, he should not be working unsupervised with clients until properly trained.
