Steak bake, was cold, not the most pleasant snack. Also the customer service was not the friendliest.
Good service ... Somewhere to sit ... Most seats with High St view ... Breakfasts good value ... Excellent coffee ...

It was later in the day so unfortunately, they were out of many choices left. I selected the Chicken Masala pasty and my husband got the Spiced Cauliflower & Onion Bhaji. In addition to the pasties, there were a number of other sweet treats to select from. Would stop by and try something else next time!

The restaurant itself is pleasant enough. It's as generic as you like but it's not offensive. There are a few small tables in here and it can get pretty busy. But it dies down again pretty quickly. There are often queues out of the door. They have four tables outside which is quite pleasant on a good day. The website is quite funny. Well, you know... It was busy, so you could tell that it is a popular spot. It is set on the river that runs through the village so you can enjoy your breakfast while the water slowly flows by you. This area and the cafe are beautiful. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Even though they were very busy, they showed no signs of being annoyed or overwhelmed. They seemed genuinely happy you were there and eager to make sure you were happy with your stay. We ordered the sausage rolls and a Cornish pastry and they were very good. I'm sure there are a lot of amazing restaurants in the place, but you would not go wrong stoping by here to grab a coffee and a bite to eat.
