It is located next to the butcher and so it is convenient to pick up your bread at the same time. They also sell crisps and drinks. I like to go there sometimes in the morning for a hot sausage roll and a cream cake if it is a Friday. The staff are friendly and courteous and handle the queues well. They also have offers on sometimes on the cakes and biscuits. When it is Easter or Halloween for example, they also have specially decorated biscuits for children, which my children love me to bring home. A good little bakery.

As I had wandered in around 3pm ish the shelves were looking rather bare - the sign of a great bakers - and so I wandered to the glass counter at the front. I didn't want to walk out without something tasty. In the end I settled for a beautiful heart shaped chocolate brownie, complete with raspberry in the centre, for my boyfriend. It was going to be Valentine's day after all! I'm told that it was delicious, so I'm glad I made that choice. I bought a set of six mini breakfast jams as well, for a friend, and they were totally bargainous. I won't say exactly how bargainous, lest she discover how much I spent, though with any luck it'll be the gesture that counts! A very small cafe nestled in the picturesque village of Littleborough just outside Manchester, I was location hunting for my short film when I came across this little beaut. Albeit I didn't stick around and was on a Latte pick up n go mission. I had enough time to soak up the homely chilled out atmosphere.
