Very professional business, they made the whole process very easy and they were very helpful. They treated everyone that walked through the door with respect whether they were there to bail someone out, or they were incarcerated. As soon as you walk in they offer you something to drink, and it doesn't hurt they are directly across the street from the jail LOL. Not familiar with this whole jail/bail process to be honest, thankfully so. I am a survivor of domestic violence. This evening I contacted Greg Padilla Bail Bonds in regards to helping my significant other. Apparently, my ex-spouse contacted them (Padilla Bail bonds ) beforehand and slandered my name. Upon, calling and inquiring, I talked to an employee who spoke on his behalf and that of his supervisor, "Brandon". I felt very judged, belittled, and attacked throughout and after our conversation. During the call, the employee told me that I was "untruthful"and accused me of being in (quote on quote) "some type of situation" I asked him what he meant by this and if I had done something wrong? In return, the employee was not able to provide a concrete answer, but rather inform me that my "husband" had contacted him to inform him of the allegation-based statement he had made towards me. I responded with asking if he (Greg Padilla Bailbond employee) was aware, that this "husband" of mine had 2 domestic violence arrests done to me and that we had beLen separated for a year, so there should be no reason he should be attempting to harm my reputation and/or be in any of my business matters. The employee insisted that my ex had not "done any crime", but I still felt (due to my protective order against my ex) that this was extremely improper of the bondsmen to unwarrantedly include him and allow his gossip of me deter their opinion of me. Unfortunately, the backlash did not end with the unprofessional/biased/hurtful phone call. After the phone call that GP Bail Bonds has with my ex-spouse, Brandon, the supervisor, decided to further persecute the person I had initially called in regards to gain services for. These charges were due to him not paying/complying on a previous charge. I agree completely that this was not ok, but this should have been established prior and not have been impactful because of an outside source interfering. the bondsmen spoke very condescending to me and had a negative tone towards me, even after I mentioned I had been in a DV situation and had a protective order against their informative aka my spouse with whom I have been separated for over a year from (Sharing this and making this comparison is even embarrassing and even more so after typing this re-affirms how irrelevant his communication should have been). It is so unfortunate because I was made to feel as if I had done wrong PLUS as a result a bond surrender was added to the bail I called about. The total increase was $50,000, as it went from a 10k bail tom$60k bail!!! All in all, my experience with Greg Padilla Bail Bond was INCREDIBLY SHADY, poor business, deceitful and outright awful. Thank you Greg Padilla Bailbonds for your lack of judgement in whom you find credible and for allowing a woman whom has been a victim of domestic violence feel even more trapped/scared/wrong. It is not a good feeling knowing that even those in the professional setting so directly related to our judicial system could be so condescending/misinformed/and judgmental due to their poor perspicacity in character. read more
