DO NOT USE. My flowers cost nearly $200 and I've seen flowers inna state of disarray and dying until I received valentines day flowers from GreenWorks. I received 16-17 tulips all open some dying other limp holes eaten into the foliage the water was murky with floating debris and the Teeda inside the bowl were filled with dirt. The bowl was tacky full of water spots and dingy. Upon arrival the box holding the flowers were soaked and only 60% of the water remained in the bowl. I emailed them and ask that they replace the arrangement and/or credit the account 6 days ago and they never responded. read more

Pre-Covid, this was my go-to florist. Customer service was "ok" depending upon who you were working with but the flowers were top-notch. Its been over a week since I placed an order and received an email confirmation of a next day delivery for a friend's birthday. The flowers were never delivered. They have yet to answer the phone and there is no way to cancel the order. Their customer service email address bounces back as undeliverable. If you can't fulfil orders during COVID, that is PERFECTLY understandable! Just shut down your website or at least UPDATE it to say that you cannot fulfill any orders! Don't send a confirmation email and set an expectation that all is operating normally! Errrr. read more

The flowers are 5 stars, but if you care about them being delivered on time, being able to contact the florist either by email (their email address on the website is not in service) or by phone (they do not answer and they do not have voicemail). For the price, this place is just not worth it for me. Nothing more frustrating than terrible customer service. My flowers were delivered a day late. No apology. No way to reach them and no discount. I was on a mission for fresh flowers for the boutique so I made my way to Greenworks. It's a small shop that appears to have a lot more gifty pieces than actual flowers, at least in the front. I asked the man at the counter if they had any fresh cut flowers available. He was kind enough to note that he wouldn't feel comfortable selling me the flowers in the refrigerator, knowing they weren't the freshest. I appreciated his candor and honesty: something that is truly rare in the customer service industry today. He even gave me directions to a nearby flower shop that he thought would be able to help. I ordered flowers for my mom, who travels frequently for her job. She was going to be in town for 10 days straight, so I was excited for her to get to enjoy the flowers for that time. Flowers were to be delivered on Saturday. They never showed up. I called multiple times, was sent to their generic answering service and got various, conflicting answers ("out for delivery now, they should have arrived already," etc). I had to call GreenWorks again on Tuesday (they should have called me). They insisted that the flowers were delivered. After I insisted they never arrived, she then admitted my mom wasn't home when they tried to deliver so they weren't delivered. With other florists, I have gotten a call from them when they couldn't get in touch with the recipient. I am extremely disappointed in the level of service and professionalism. Greenworks had not one, but two in-person consultations for my wedding, which I would have thought were great, if they had meant anything in the end. All of that meticulous planning was for nothing. Our "mock-up" centerpiece looked VERY different from the actually final product, and the specific flowers I wanted for my girls' hair were completely ignored--they just gave us extra men's boutonnieres! There were also lots of pink flowers, which we never talked about and I had not wanted. Perhaps worst of all, because they happily have their money, they refuse to talk to us about any of these errors. Surreal experience at this store! The manager (Ms. Joan Ch.) refused me to give me some balloons that I had ordered and prepaid at another branch because her colleague had quoted me the wrong price (we are talking about an insignificant $10 difference). When I politely indicated that she should deliver my order and address the miscommunication with her colleague directly with her and not involve me in their internal squabbles, she refused me to sell me the balloons altogether, even at the "correct" price. My boyfriend surprised me with flowers at work on the first day of Spring. The bouquet was very pretty and smelled amazing. It was a pretty vase where the bottom was wrapped in a leaf inside the vase to hide the stems. The flowers included tulips, roses, and many more other spring flowers. I wish I would have read the reviews BEFORE using them to make a special arrangement for a 75th birthday of a dear friend who loves French Tulips. The flowers were quite inferior in normal size, the greens and leaves we had agreed on on my personal visit to the store were not done until I had them correct the order. WHEN MY FRIEND HAD NOT CALLED IN SEVERAL DAYS TO TELL ME HOW SHE WAS ENJOYING THEM, SHE REPORTED THAT THEY WERE SKIMPY BLOOMS AND HAD COMPLETELY DROOPED AND PETERED OUT IN 2 DAYS. SHE FELT SHE HAD TO TELL ME THE TRUTH SINCE SHE KNEW THE ARRANGEMENT HAD TO BE COSTLY AND MAYBE I WOULDN'T WANT TO USE THIS FLORIST AGAIN.. Besides the disappointing quality of flowers, the service was a nightmare. I had double parked to pick them up having made a call to tell then I would be there in 20 mins. I was presented a glass container drenched in water on the exterior with no attempt to wipe it and with no box with which to transport it. I had to request a box and tissue, a real inconvenience with my car illegally parked on a busy street. The staff were very friendly, professional, and supportive. We got everything we wanted in addition to a couple extra touches that they threw in for free. For our wedding set-up, they were on time and put in a lot of effort to make sure details were flawless. We also thought that they were reasonably priced for the services and products they delivered. We would put a 5 star review except for one planning meeting had to be canceled at the very last minute. But other than that one little thing, they were fabulous. read more

We decided to splurge on our wedding and the reception following at the Wilard Hotel, and had very high expectations for the flowers. Greenworks did not disappoint. The arrangements, candleabras, amaranthus-covered chandeliers and boxwood backdrop for the band were absolutely beautiful, and Greenworks' staff were great. Our contact, Audrey, was delightful to work with, respected our budget, and provided great ideas while never trying to "sell" us anything. While my husband and I don't plan another event of this magnitude, we would definitely use Greenworks if an opportunity presented. read more

I recently ordered flowers to be delivered to an office, even with special instructions and a phone number they claimed they were unable to locate the recipient. On the day of scheduled delivery around close of business they called the recipient got her exact location for delivery the next day and promised it would arrive first thing in the morning. They did not contact me the customer to announce it never arrived, I found out indirectly. Long and short the flowers never came the next day. Went with Green Works for a Wedding BIG MISTAKE. They made everything sound so great and that we were all on the same page before the Wedding. The only thing that looked like what we wanted was the candle vases. The centerpiece flowers looked like they were all put together in a rush and looked nothing like what we requested . Our aisle decoration was not what we requested or what was in the contract. They charged us over $200 for 18 flowers on a string. When I expressed my disappointment on the event all I got was a refund for $200 for the things they clearly forgot to set up on that day. It was over $11,000.00 in flowers. When I stated that the design was not what we paid for, they sent me a line from the contract that read the designer has the right to make changes to the design at any time without consulting me. I will NEVER use them again and if you want nice flowers and someone You can trust with your flowers this is not the place to go. read more

Their customer service and value for money are poor. I ordered a $100 flower arrangement on behalf of our office for delivery to a wake, facts which I made clear to the person taking the order. The total was $121 with tax and delivery. When we arrived at the funeral home, we were chagrined to find that our arrangement was about 6-8 inches tall and was embarrassingly small - the tiniest arrangement there. I called Greenworks to complain the next day (the day of the funeral), and their representatives were defensive and unapologetic, even though they admitted that they had intended to send a tall vase or basket. Neither the manager nor the owner ever returned my calls or email, and I had to track down the loud and rude manager, Joan, to express my disappointment. It was too late to send a proper arrangement, and in any event, two bouquets would have been strange and awkward. Greenworks refused to provide even a partial refund so that we could give the money to charity (I did so myself). If the flowers had marked a happy occasion, I would have laughed it off. But a florist should not make mistakes for a funeral, and should bend over backwards to please the customer if they do. read more

Worst experience ever! My nightmare started Feb 12th just before Valentine's Day. I placed my order two days prior on Feb 10th for a dozen roses to be sent to my wife. I was told by an employee that the window for delivery would be by 3pm. I double checked and spoke with an employee again on the 11th to confirm that the delivery would be by 3pm because that's around to time my wife leaves for work. The 12th arrives and my wife calls telling me she leaving work heading home around 315pm. To my shock she had received nothing. I immediately called to make them aware and asked for a refund. Someone apologized and said I would receive a refund within two business days. Two business days passed and I called and spoke with the manager Joan. She said my driver was there on time and your wife refused the roses which is completely absurd. I offered to show her phone records and insisted she check her drivers phone records as well. She then replies I didn't promise you anytime. This was the first sign that this company was fraudulent and irresponsible. She then mentions that she was doing me a favor because she remembered the order and didn't want to accept my business in the 1st place because it was too far. My question is why on earth do you take a customer knowing you may have issues providing a service. There are tons of more reputable florists that I could have went with, with much cheaper dozens of roses ($137.00). I have given up trying to communicate with management and have given this over to the fraud Dept of my bank to collect as well as over draft fees that have occurred to the false debiting of my account.
