She was so much fun to learn from and talk to, and provided great humor throughout our lessons. My confidence on the dance floor has increased tremendously thanks to her! Meredith the manager is also fantastic - she made me feel welcome from the first moment I stepped into this studio. We spent 1.5 hours warming up, getting used to the flow, learning beginner level salsa, even Suzy Q salsa step. I've danced salsa for so many years but never actually took an adult dance class just for fun. It was the perfect date with my favorite +1 and such a fun way to do something different and learn something new with zero pressure. Kathryn was amazing and she made it so easy to learn. We had a full house and everyone was so fun to dance with no matter the skill set or experience, everyone was welcome. Absolutely love the revamped studio and how big and full of light the room is. There are so many classes on their schedule and so many fun things to try for adults only. Great space where no one takes themselves too seriously and you can come learn and have fun. Let me start off to say that I have taken almost 500 classes via classpass and through other studios all over the country, and I have to say that the sculpt class taught by Katia was amazing. Plus: instructor's enthusiasm, overall energy, music, moves, and structure of the class was all cohesive and layed out very well. I was looking for a sculpting class that would build lean muscles instead of bulk me up and this class definitely did it's job. There was constant movement, so you also got a decent cardio burn as well during the class. Cons: Space. At times, it felt so hot in the room, so not sure if they had their aircon on. But hey that allowed me to sweat all my impurities out. As with all classes via classpass, I measure my overall satisfaction based on 2 things--did I walk out of the class or would i purchase a class (gasp now, outside of the classpass membership). For this studio and especially this sculpt class I would definitely purchase classes outside of class pass. Good job Katia, keep up the good work!

Genuinely terrible overcrowded and scammy gym…read more I've been going to the edge fitness on and off for three years now. It is such a terrible experience going there.. they try to scam you at every point they possibly can and gouge every single cent out of you. Example 1). They told us we can buy their protein powder that they will store it for us at the gym and takeoff a good amount off the price of the shakes they sell. They got everyone to buy it and realized they didn't wanna hold them anymore so they made everyone take them back and stopped doing that deal. (finesse us into buying their sh****tty protein powder) example 2). They will blatantly lie to your face about the agreement you're signing for. This has happened to me on multiple occasions. example 2a) they told me I could get a three month summer pass before I go to school, sounded like a good price at first, then I got hit with a $50 service charge for the first month (I asked them if I'm only paying x amount monthly) the lady blatantly lied to my face about it saying i would only have the monthly charge. example 2b) I dislocated and got shoulder surgery shortly after the example above and went to the front desk to ask how to cancel. She told me I needed to email corporate and send a very formatted email. She ended up helping me write it nicely enough just to receive an email back saying they won't cancel it without knowing more than 30 days in advance. I provided proof of the surgery and that I couldn't even use their facility, but it didn't matter. After closing my account to avoid being charged extra, they are sending me to collections for $250 even though I only allegedly owed $45 Apparently, you have to pre-pay the next month and write the formal email to cancel. Since I didn't pay that extra $45 (the next months payment) they refused to cancel my membership charge me fees, and membership charges for the last two months.
