Not only did he help with steps, but he put in the work to actually help choreograph a number. Like a full-on dance, plus he orchestrated a beautiful experience for our family. He was kind, funny, and extremely collaborative to ensure Daddy and Daughter were confident and having fun. Two days before the event, I reached out and asked if he could help me (Mom) learn a simple step so that we could also have a moment with a dance as well. Wow! I have no exact words to express how happy and grateful I was that he fit me into his very busy schedule so that I, too could have my own moment with our daughter. When I say that I'm beyond grateful, it doesn't fully describe the superb experience we had at Arosa Balleoom and the most enjoyable time with a fantastic dance instructor. He is passionate about his craft and just a lovely person. We'll be forever grateful and kind of hooked. Maybe we will continue with instruction, because we may have to catch up to my colleague, who is not a bronze-level dancer! The studio is located in a great spot and has plenty of parking too. A few weeks ago I decided to try something different and totally out of my comfort zone. A friendly…read morerecommendation led me to Pole Position Dance Studio located in White Plains, just a few store fronts down from Mario's Pizza on Mamaroneck Avenue. For starters, the booking process was seamless. There were multiple packages to choose from, whether you just want to try out a class or fully commit. I also had no idea that they offered more than just pole! Some of their classes include Street Heels, Metamorphosis (which is a pole-less class; just straight dancing), and a stretch class! For transparency, I've never took a pole class in my life. While nervous going in, you can't help but immediately feel welcome. The owner of the studio, Taylor, was quick to greet me and the front desk girl, Jules, was as kind as could be! I can't even tell you how much fun I had at this class, and I wasn't even any good! Everyone in the class, not just the instructor, was so supportive and I quickly realized that this was more than just a class. It was a community. I loved it so much that the next week I invited one of my besties to join me! It was such a blast and I can't wait to book my next class!!
