Love the space of the WeWork offices in the arboretum. Quiet, but with enough energy, plenty of…read morelight and space for you to sit down and get a space to work in a common space. Coffee, cold brew, seltzer water and kombucha included in your membership. Very excited to go back to a space to work in temporarily until my offices open back up later this year. The desks are clean, lots of meeting space and phone booths are also very helpful to maintain privacy when needed. Parking is free at this north location and at the tour, no available single office spaces at the moment but you can get on a waitlist, but the all access pass is perfect for my convenience for when I need to get up and go. Membership will work at all WeWork locations and is extra nice to be fluid in where I want to work out of space wise on a day to day basis. Can't wait to scope out and sign up for an all access membership and try it out and get out of my house for a bit now that I'm fully vaccinated and ready to resume a sense of normal.

Same thing when a plumber fixed my toilet without any bum crack showing. So I was amazed when I realized I have been working from this place every single day for over a year now and hadn't stopped to review it. Let's make this wrong a right, no? The best way for me to summarize Link is it's a place for grownups to come to work every day. By grown up, I mean in mentality, not age -- the people here are serious, kind, hardworking, compassionate, creative, and welcoming business owners that all thrive on productivity, flexibility, and a healthy dose of order. Before settling on Link, I toured a few other co-working joints in town and have come to the conclusion that co-working spaces fall into a variety of categories: 1.) Places where you can probably also buy weed, in addition to co-work. Nothing wrong with that if it's your thing. Just not mine. 2.) Places that are downtown and beautiful and fancy, but involve death by commuting, and also paying for a parking contract. 3.) Small houses on the east side, also really cool and inviting. I just don't have a fixed gear bike and enough kale chips in my pockets to feel at home. Still love you, my patchouli-loving gang of hippie coworkers. Liz and team run a tight ship, by which I mean she keeps the place clean, well maintained, welcoming, and professional -- with just the right amount of casual fun. I read the one-star review where someone complained about rules, and I can honestly say that the entire Link community does expect our co-working coworkers to be able to handle a basic set of rules -- and help keep the place profitable and sustainable by paying extremely reasonable fees for using the really nice resources put in place for us. Also, no food stealers, please. If you are looking for a place to steal sandwiches, you won't thrive here. A quick (and unofficial) test for if you will love Link, by me: Do you microwave fish every day for lunch? (Yes or No?) If you answered No, you will automatically love Link. No fish microwaving allowed. Link is made even better by tons of great places to eat within walking distance, a great coffee shop practically next door, a vibrant community of awesome professionals, and the Alamo freaking Drafthouse just steps away (just in case you sign a big deal and need to celebrate with a pint and a daytime monster invasion B-movie). It's there when you need it but you don't have the unnecessary expense of maintaining an office just for the sake of having one. We generally use the Regus location that is located off of Great Hills Trail in Austin. It's always clean and comfortable. The suite is sized to accommodate based on the event which you can describe when you book it. Michelangelo is the primary person at the front desk. He is very courteous, he is always dressed and groomed to a T...and represents Regus in a very positive light. The office has wireless that you can connect to, along with a common area that contains a kitchen and all the office equipment you might need while you are there as well. Great selections of coffees, teas, and waters. They can be your mail drop and can be utilized for phone service if you so choose. It's a very cool a la carte system. Upon entering, you will see a screen that shows all the tenants, allowing you to find the person/salon you are there to visit. It's very clean with easy parking. The bathrooms have a lot of space and have always been clean when I've been there. Please note--this is not a business where you can drop in to get service. These are independent contractors, and there is no receptionist to do check-ins or to do scheduling. You have to work directly with the stylist/salon to get the services you seek.
