I've been living here for 4 1/2 years. The first three years were awesome manicure lawns, timely…read moreservice very clean landscaping, but now things have changed... we can't even get mulch this year for the landscaping. The company denied having mulch put down the grounds, look horrible , dying bushes if I hadn't signed my lease for another year, I really would consider moving my I will after this year. They can increase your rent though. I was told that they will go buy a bag of mulch and put it down in front of my apartment but it's not just my apartment. It's the whole apartment complex that looks awful. Whenever I needed something fixed, though they were always completed in a timely fashion. I

I'd prefer to give no stars really...do NOT live here. I lived here for 3 years. So many issues…read morewith BLACK MOLD. I couldn't use my heat for 3 months because they refused to replace my furnace due to mold. Tried to blame it on me. It's due to their poorly built drainage system (said the independent HVAC repair person). I was hearing my apartment with space heaters and had to buy an electric fire place to keep it warm. I brought in a lawyer and THEN they decided to fix the mold issue and replace the furnace. They even asked the HVAC guy to just "clean it out" instead of replacing it. Not cool! My windows and door was replaced due to mold. My washer got moldy. Just don't live here. I was so physically ill living here with all this mold. On move in day, the apartment wasn't move in ready. They offered me a different unit....uhhhh no! I had the moving truck there and who's to say it would be better. Kinda glad I didn't move since I would have moved to where they built that strip mall. I had already officially changed my addresss too. No thanks. Management changed SIX TIMES in 3 years of living there. Only one of them was helpful. The carpet wasn't very clean and things kept coming up through it. Disgusting. They prefer to blame the renter than actually taking care of the problem.

It looks as though the complex tried to cover up these damages, but never truly fix them. It is almost end of April and we still haven't had our cabinets replaced, despite multiple phone calls and emails. We also found water stains/possibly mold inside one of the cabinets. Additionally, our dishwasher had a strong smell of mold coming from it. It took about 4 different work orders for anything to be done to fix this. Our dryer takes more than one cycle to completely dry any kind of laundry load we put in. We've called and put in orders regarding this, however, no solution. Our windows are currently leaking a yellow/brown fluid anytime it rains. Taking into consideration how many issues we've had upon our arrival, rent is still absurd for the lack of quality. Energy bills run about 200-300 per month, but that might be from the fact our dryer doesn't actually dry clothes on the first round and our windows are leaking. Overall, I most definitely WOULD NOT recommend moving in here. We plan to leave as soon as we possibly can.

The costs are comparable and even on the low side of the market for what you get. They are very dog friendly with a bark park and many dog waste stations located throughout the community. Great location for families or for those relocating or between homes. Great location on the northwest side and easy access to downtown. The only negative is there is a lot of construction on the Whitestown/Zionsville exit off 65 and traffic can be heavy trying to get to the highway.
