Also they neglected to repair or replace broken blinds and old leaky faucets for for 11 months. They gave me a tiny plastic shower Head. Once I gave 30 days notice to vacate, they replaced the faucets and blinds. They sent an email stating if I renewed my lease they would redo the rotten balcony. The monthly water fee would go from zero to $95. I moved. 3 days after the lease ended the balcony wood was replaced on a Saturday.

I've personally had multiple experiences with Charisse and Lilly in the main office and have not been disappointed once. They've always been kind to the 5 of us and have gotten back to us with any of our needs in lightening fast speed. The maintenance men are great here and very respectful and knowledgeable. Not to mention the entire tour the girl showing us was practically crapping her pants while walking in front of us. Everything seems to be made out of cheap material and the layout was super basic. I would recommend…read moreanyone to spend the extra dollars to live somewhere else because this place is truly the definition of a dump. Thank god lightning struck my apartment building and the local fire marshal deemed it inhabitable because it was awful in every way. I was there for less than one months time and regret being there for that long. Not only do all the apartments have a rather pungent smoke smell about them, the appliances are at least 30 years old, and you're lucky if you're AC unit works but the leasing staff is truly the cherry on top of this disgusting cake. I did not have a single pleasant or nice experience with the head leasing manager while I was a resident I was there. When I asked if I could run back into "my" apartment to grab a few things I had forgotten after it had been deemed inhabitable and my life had been flipped upside down she had told me it was no longer my apartment and she would have to go out of her way to accommodate me. I really have nothing nice to say about this place other than it was nice to have left so quickly after I made the mistake to move in. Please for the love of god I am asking, no pleading, do not sign or even consider looking to sign a lease here. You will thank me.

BUT we have a great looking new lobby redesign (furniture, paint, carpeting), but your key still won't unlock the front door part of the time. Front door appears to be non-ADA compliant, also - does not automatically open. A bad living experience. And as for Debbi O. caring about the residents, she does if you're in her clique - otherwise, forget it. Manager spends more time gossiping than to tending maintenance issues. PS: If you have the opportunity, call and ask Debbie about her arrest in 2012 for D Felony Theft and her subsequent plea. (Boone County Courtview, search for Deborah L. Osborne, that's her.) P.P.S.: 7/18/2014 - Latest talk (well founded rumors?) in the building is that D.O. has people putting together a list of those I've visited and my friends so that they all can go on a list of people who will NOT have their leases renewable when they expire. (Two different people at two different times today have stated that they can't be seen with me or talk to me because of this list, and they don't have any place to go. So, Debbie, the rumor has my friends not talking to me now...) Also, the talk is that D.O. owes the IRS 11+K for the money she stole because she never paid taxes on it... I will continually update this information as I get it.
