At times, it's nearly impossible to concentrate at work and by the time you get home, you are so exhausted that it's difficult to even get dinner on the table or help the kids with homework. You've been pulling back at work, distancing from friends, and feel 'checked-out' around family. The only thing that seems to bring you some peace, let alone sleep, is a glass (or three) of wine, hours of Netflix, or chocolate cake. When you reflect on your life, you recognize all of your successes. In fact, you've done exactly what you "should" have all the way through - established a good career and climbed the corporate ladder, raised children and cultivated meaningful relationships - and yet there is something missing. If you are over being overworked and overwhelmed and ready to create the life you truly want to live, give me a call for a free 15-minute consultation. Together we'll see what keeps getting in the way of your happy+healthy.

Leslie Blevins said she was…read more100% certain of her diagnosis and recommended a year of weekly therapy to deal with non-existent problems. She was wrong about the diagnosis. She relied on outlier, skewed data without exploring an understanding of how there could be such big differences across environments. We've since discovered problems with the other environment, and our perspective of our child was validated by other third parties. Leslie Blevins was truly cruel and insensitive, but with a smile and a nice voice. She simply didn't "get" our child and she didn't take the time to do so. She doesn't understand child development and pathologized normal child behavior. After other professionals who know our child read her evaluation, they responded that it felt like it was about a completely different child. I think at the core, it's that Blevins lacks the experience and a wider, broader view of child development. She also lacks caution, especially when it comes to applying measurement tools that were developed, validated, and normed during pre-pandemic period to children growing up during a pandemic. It may be that she's somewhat incentivized to see things with the glass half empty because that means you have to pay her for costly out of network services in order to fix the non-existent problems.

They were great with my 7 year old, making her feel comfortable with all of the testing. They were great explaining things and she enjoyed her time actually. When reviewing the results, the psychologist was very thorough and explained everything quite well. She referred us to an eye doctor to rule out any potential functional issues, and I was shocked to learn that she did indeed have some functional issues. After receiving that diagnosis, the psychologist was better able to diagnose. I appreciated that she didn't immediately jump to a diagnosis and prescribe medication. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

I called on Thursday - for over and hour off and on - there was no answer (and no voicemail or outgoing message). (There is an option to email them through their website - but don't bother because you get a message saying due to high email volume to call them.) When I did get through, they did not apologize for not calling me back as they said they would on Tuesday, which I thought was very inconsiderate. I told them about my Tuesday new patient call, they took my name, put me on hold, and then I was disconnected. later that day they called me back and I got an appointment - with a social worker which is not what I requested. So I am looking elsewhere, this group is just not working for me.
