It is clean, bright, and cheerful and is incredibly well maintained. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with love, and compassion, and where they are respected and safe, this is the place for them to reside. As you enter the Solana doors you are always greeted with a smiling and professional receptionist. Joanne has been such a pleasant source of supportive care with her sweet and caring disposition. In 2024 my mother transitioned over to the Memory Care Wing. Alaina, the Memory Care Director was amazing throughout this difficult process. Her empathetic care, gentleness and patience has warmed our hearts as my mother always has a smile on her face when Alaina is present. The staff, including the aides, nurses and med techs are extremely attentive to each resident's needs and treat everyone with respect and warmth. Whenever my family has questions about my mother's health concerns, Adria, one of the nurses, has been incredibly supportive with her medical expertise and follow-up. A special shout out goes to Steve for his wonderful sense of humor and warmhearted personality. He keeps the residents active with such activities as daily aerobic classes, craft activities, weekly live music, lots of card and brain games and scenic drives. The care and respect that is given to each resident and family member is commendable. Thank you all at The Solana for being such shining stars, for loving Mom and for all that you ALL have done for our family.

My father was a resident of The Solana Doylestown Memory Care for 3.5 years. The first couple of…read moreyears was more than I could ask for. The staff was constant, receptive and always seemed caring to residents and families visiting their loved ones. Unfortunately, the past 2 years have been so very disappointing. The staff was constantly changing and lacked continuity which is exactly what people with dementia need. I would walk in and the staff never acknowledged me. Half of the time, the staff were sitting around on their phones ignoring residents. My father's room was always dirty. There was one occasion where he or another resident had an accident and there were feces all over the carpet and walls of his room. I asked them to please clean it up and I was told that maintenance was not working on Sunday's so it would have to wait. The next day I returned and the room was still in the same condition. My father has since passed and the last few weeks of his life at Solana were stressful and heart breaking. He was falling up to four times per day and still staff did not assist him to his room. It is important to mention that the newly assigned director of the facility should be ashamed of himself. He does not follow through with anything that he promises and is unprofessional. The facility shows nicely, but don't let the lovely decor fool you.

While the facility itself could use some updating (that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) the Staff is incredible and they were extremely helpful during my Mother's stay at the facility. Nurses Anna and Vicky were incredible and my Mother, who was not the easiest patient, liked them very much. Unfortunately while at the facility my Mother's health declined quickly (not due to the treatment by the facility) and they helped me to transition my Mother to Hospice and made it possible for my Mom to go home to her own house for her final days. The Director of Nursing and the facility Manager were incredibly helpful in setting up Hospice and were extremely supportive of me as the caretaker. I am grateful to the staff and would recommend them to anyone.

The accommodations are beautiful and give a very relaxing atmosphere. WEL's staff portrays an overall warmth with friendliness and helpfulness. The meals, also, deserves a very high rating. I would highly recommend this facility. My only wish is that I had such a facility close to my hometown.

Since my mother's arrival, the level of support has been exemplary. She has been in her independent unit for over six months and continues to express her gratitude of being in such a personable and caring community. Each day she is establishing connections with both residents, and staff and I feel the value-centered community of "friendship, dignity, and respect" is truly woven into the fabric of this very special place. I have been spending a lot of time in Juniper visiting a friend. I've been impressed by the…read morefacility and how many amenities they offer. There are multiple restaurants, a state of the art gym, indoor pool, library, pool tables, shuffle board tables, a coffee shop and a very popular full service bar. There is also a convenience store for quick items like milk as well as a very inexpensive thrift shop with some very cool items. I've witnessed how professional and quick the maintenance team responds to service calls. Marge in the coffee shop is wonderful and remembers everyone's orders. There are always activities like live music, bingo, name that tune to name a few. I also have learned that the buy in to live at Juniper is much more affordable than other independent living communities making it affordable for more seniors. You also can have pets, a car, and even a unit with an enclosed balcony. Note: My review is only for independent living as I have heard several residents very unhappy with the level of care provided in their personal care buildings.

I had to send them a Google which said it was illegal that it independent apartment money that is owed is totally different than the medical part there. They knew they were breaking the law and they knew they were wrong within 24 hours I had her money, what do you think about that? Guilt and they knew they were breaking the law. It says a lot about the place doesn't it? And the CEO Catherine doesn't even return any phone calls all they care about is getting you in getting your money and it's just a total business and it's a poor business.

We were only there for a day, but they were helpful and respectful. In our worst moment, they helped us navigate through things. We worked briefly with them outpatient prior as well, and they also were helpful and responsive. You could always get ahold of a nurse to advise you. They were just really on top of things, and didn't push you or push any agendas.

My Aunt recently told me about the fire alarms going off at all hours of the day and night. I experienced it first hand a couple of days ago. While visiting the alarm went off and it was so loud and startling. I can't imagine having to deal with this on a regular basis. Apparently one of the residents is pulling the alarm and management doesn't know how to deal with the problem. Recently one of the residents came into my Aunt's room and startled her. My Aunt went out into the hallway and screamed for help - no response. When she tried to re-enter her room, the intruder shoved her. This is not the place for my loved one, nor is it for yours! They certainly put on a good appearance as it is clean and most of the aides are nice but management is horrendous. Older people deserve to be safe and have decent meals. This place is a disgrace. I'm sorry that I had to give 1 star in order to post my review.

They had a brown out with no backup generator. My mom was out of oxygen for 10 minutes before someone came in to help her - she thought she was going to die. Also I was there when she pressed the emergency button around her neck and no one came to help for 30 minutes. Also they couldn't figure out her room temp. Every time I came in it was 85 degrees!
