A recruiter contacted me about a position, hounded me until I sent my information, then provided very poor contact. After not hearing from her for a week, I checked in with the recruiter to be told she was still waiting. Then I checked in a week later and she still had no updates. Then, I never heard from her again. Was another candidate chosen? Was the position froze? I have no clue. After working with other staffing agencies (those where I got and did not get positions), I realized this isn't the way it should go. Other recruiters maintain good contact, help you fix your resume, provide career advice and try to find multiple positions that are a fit for you. Maybe I hit Astyra at the wrong time, but it wasn't my best experience.

After a month of waiting I showed up to the office/building and all the doors were locked and the lights were off. I waited around for 40 minutes and called multiple numbers related to Thriveworks with no answer. I finally received a phone call being told that the clinician thought my appointment was through Zoom, although on the website it was labeled as in person. I got the appt cancelled and won't be rescheduling with Thriveworks.

They will take a credit card for monthly billing "service" to cover things outside of insurance but then will bill you total amount of charges while also take money from insurance. They are taking double payment for all sessions and now we have been waiting for almost 6 weeks for credit. Our insurance company engaged and Thriveworks said "we have a credit to process but the patient need to request the refund". We already asked for refund but they still hold the money. Now another 2 weeks go by and they say "sorry but we will have to escalate your issue to a manager to address refund". They did offer to void the monthly charge as goodwill but don't plan on ever using their services. It seems like it is all just a racket to take your money.
