This is my experience with Green Fox, I really hope that you have a different one.
This company seems to be fundamentally flawed. I ordered 4 windows from Green Fox on may 17, after 155 days from order and they were "finished" with their install on October 18. I say "finished" as the final product is pretty poor. I ordered two large windows, one medium window and one small window. The price was reasonable and I had heard good things about them from my neighbours so I chose to go with them, I will not make that mistake again.
Their idea of customer service is to call you to tell you about the time in the future when they will call you again when actual progress on your order has been achieved. I had a number of conversations with very polite office people where they were excited to tell me about the service department's success in entering the order for the parts to resolve my issues but they could not tell me when the Oder would arrive in Calgary or when a service call could be scheduled to install these calls
When something goes wrong with the installation process the people on site have no ability to problem solve and must return to the office to schedule another appointment. These appointments are made at the discretion of The Scheduling Manager ( a very polite person named Hannah) that will fixate on only one detail of you scheduled and not ask any questions to see if there is a time sooner than what she expects to schedule a follow up appointment. For example she was very surprised that I couldn't take a service appointment during the day on two days notice, I work ( as I expect most people that pay for things do) and I was unwilling to take time off to accommodate their service schedule so I asked for an appointment after 5 so I would not have to miss work, her compromise was to suggest that the next available service appointment after 5 would be at least a 3 week wait. I mentioned that I had a day off the following Friday, but she was fixated on the after 5 concern to not miss work that she would not schedule the Friday without talking about it for 5 minutes.
The primary reason I wanted to change my windows was to improve the insulation value of my windows in the kitchen and front room and to that end I ordered triple pane windows with solar coatings to try maximise the the long term benefits. When the windows were installed the sticker affixed to the windows didn't match the specifications on the invoice, I called and asked about this and after a couple of days waiting for a return call....i had to follow up several times to get a response their explanation was that there was a new person running the sticker machine and there was an error in the printed stickers and they would be happy to provide my with a sticker that matched my invoice, so I have no confidence that the windows installed in my house are what I paid for. I asked if there was some way to confirm that what was installed was what I paid for but they were certain that it was just a mix up at the sticker machine.
So at the end of the day I have no idea if the windows I ordered are what I got, the interior finish is very poor and I have no confidence that this company can do any better than this. read more
