Over Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend, we were on a road trip from Sonoma County to San Luis Obispo when we got a flat tire. We initially reached out to Tesla Roadside Assistance and AAA, but after waiting for nearly an hour with no help in sight, we were lucky enough to have Highway Patrol stop to check on us. We asked them to dispatch whoever was available, and thankfully, Leyva's Towing arrived within 20 minutes--a lifesaver compared to the long wait times from other services. Our tow truck driver, Manuel, was incredibly kind, helpful, and reassuring. From the moment he arrived, he made sure we felt safe and taken care of, which made all the difference in such a stressful situation. He got us to the tire shop smoothly, and everything went off without a hitch. Another thing I really appreciate is that we never felt overcharged or taken advantage of--which can sometimes happen in situations like this. For the quick response, professionalism, and short-notice service, I truly think the price was more than fair. We've been in similar situations before where we were charged $450-$500, but Leyva's Towing was reasonable and honest, which made an already stressful experience so much easier to deal with. I can't thank Manuel and Leyva's Towing Inc. enough for their quick response, professionalism, and excellent service. They truly saved our holiday weekend! If you ever need a tow in the area, this is the company to call.

If you have a day or two to spare bring your car to these guys.. and a day is literally from like…read more8am to 6pm. They do a variety of basic things from smogs to brakes. I stopped by one morning just to get a ballpark figure of what I would be looking at and he threw a couple numbers at me. But he wanted me to leave the car for a few hours just to check it out. Shop owner seemed friendly and all. I had visually inspected my brake pads and noticed the rear pads looked a bit thin and I mentioned that. As well as the fact of the recent occasional squeaking. I was strapped for time so I dropped it off the next morning at 830 on the dot. 3 pm came so I called to see what was going on. Told me that he only replaced the front pads and was going to put new brake fluid 'should be done in about an hour!' He called me at 630 'its done you can pick it up'. Finaaaaally! I get there and he was about to leave already. I paid and asked for the keys. He told me he left them in car. I go to my car and the windows are down with the keys just sitting there?!! And that day he was the polar opposite of the person he was the day before which was also why I probably won't be going back there again. Oh but a couple days later my freaking brakes are squeaking again!! Why? Cuz like I told him 'my rear brakes are a bit thin' and need replacing!! I will save myself the time and money and I'm just going to do it myself. Lol

First of all, fully new brakes will squeak. Use high-end ones, maybe some $3,500 set up and they…read morewont squeak. Still, it will rain and then they'll squeak. 90% of them do. That's normal. Also, wear them down evenly. Dont break hard and such. Takes about 10miles of breaking (meaning friction) to set them up. AKA break them in... Here's my own SMOG review done today. I call in 8am ish, Izzy picks up, asks what I need, I tell him to SMOG. I take truck in, 20min later I'm out. Price was less than $75, but I also had him tighten and fix some small issues. 2014: When I was in college (Friday night), I called Izzy's and told them, "hey I need my clutch redone asap, I have class on Monday." They said, "bring it in!" I took it in person and explained once again my hurry. Izzy came out and explained that... "one of my aides called in sick. I'll see what I can do." 6ish hours later, he calls me and the clutch is done! Truck is at 323k miles. Started taking it in since 174k. Last year 2015: Our Nissan truck had transmission leak and engine gasket issue. He fixed it in two weeks sharp. He had said it'd take about 3 due to availability of gaskets from dealer [from Japan] and other OEM parts. Truck has ran 87k miles since the repairs 100% good. Izzy is an honest man, and he works to what the client wants. If you go in and rush him, he'll understand and do the job, but if your car breaks down due to his rushing, blame yourself. Go to the shop across the elementary school next to Chase. They cheat on so man things and take short cuts whenever possible. Plus, 16yr old kids will be the ones working on your car, not the adults. Oh and expect your car to be there for about a month! Last story, I once [before really knowing Izzy] had to have big repairs done on my Corolla [2001]. I took it in, explained my problem, and they agreed to repair it. Izzy called me said car was ready. I went in, and realized my wallet was $300 short of the repair. I paid what I had [about $260] and he said to take the car and bring back the cash as soon as I made it. I paid $400. That's $100 extra for his understanding. I didnt even need to explain what was going in my life at the time or why I didnt have the full $$$.
