A true cat lover, he understands what's good and bad for cats - like too many vaccines, kidney aliments (and how a cat fountain will work wonders) - and doesn't push unneeded services, with many solutions that don't enrich him in any way. His style strikes me as very honest, and caring for the animal, and he has the special knowledge that only a person who primarily works on cats knows. Even my cat doesn't dislike him very much, and she isn't known for being social, that's about as much of a 5 star review as she gives. Anybody with a cat should go here, it is worth the drive - you'll save money with his tips that pay for the gas, and your feline will be better cared for!

I called just minutes before closing but he waited the 25 minutes it took me to drive there to see me cat, even though at the time I had never taken a cat to his office. I'm surprised to see the one-star reviews here, because I have (almost) only good things to say. The wait time is never more than 10 minutes, you can schedule appointments online or through an app (very convenient!), and the staff is friendly and kind. They didn't mind when my puppy peed on the rug, and they always give her lots of treats so that she enjoys coming to the vet. The assistants who greet you initially are always very helpful and friendly, as is Dr. Heath Wiseman. I've visited three times now, all for puppy shots but also to address health issues (diarrhea and an ear infection), and I've been pleased with the experience every time. I like that they provide you with a document summarizing the appointment (issues addressed, weight, etc). Also, the facility itself is very clean and modern. The only (very minor) issue I have is that during my first appointment, I asked how to clip my puppy's nails and the assistant volunteered to show me. Later, I saw on the bill that I'd been charged for a nail clipping. Not a huge deal, but I wish the assistant would have mentioned the cost beforehand for transparency's sake.

They also put her on a heating pad as she was could. The Dr. came in and explained everything to us & due the severity of the injury which was probably caused by a coon that she would end up losing the leg & not having a good quality of life, we were absolutely devastated hearing this news. Even if we had the money to go down that route we felt that the unselfish thing was to take her out of the horrible pain she was in! So she died in my arms & was now not suffering. We were given some options for her remains. We chose to have her cremated with her ashes coming back to us & then we would put her in this beautiful pink urn we found. She will always be in our hearts and she will be in our home to share her spirit that will live on forever in our hearts. We want to thank everyone who helped through this very difficult process as it meant the world to us. If you have any pet emergencies I highly recommend these amazing animal lovers who do whatever is right for the families of the fur babies that are put into their care! Since October, four months have passed, and my kitten now exhibits a swollen, saggy abdomen. She is unable to climb trees, and I have expressed concerns that she cannot perform the activities that my other cats can. Unfortunately, my concerns were disregarded, and I was even subjected to an inappropriate comparison between my kitten and her overweight, inactive grandchildren. Additionally, I attempted to voice my complaints via phone; however, the veterinarian has not returned my calls. Consequently, my next course of action will be to lodge a formal complaint with the Veterinary Board in Jefferson City. O

My dog died as a result of treatment or lack of treatment from this clinic. He was suffering from…read morean auto immune disease and had a prostate infection. He was very sick and I explain to the doctor that I didn't think it was good for the surgery. She assured me that it would not be a problem and that this was the cure. When I went to pick him up he was in a coma and having seizures. She said it had nothing to do with the anesthesia and that my dog must have been epileptic. He died later that night in an emergency clinic. I later learned the dogs with immuno diseases have a higher risk of seizures when on Anesthesia. If this vet would have been more educated or done her homework my Titan would've been alive today.
