Belmont At Greenbrier Apartments

My family has only lived here for about a month but so far everything about this place has been…read moregreat. First off, we were able to lease for 6 months without our rent being raised (as many places do). We were also able to rent a garage on site for cheaper than a storage unit in town, the property grounds are always clean (other than some goose droppings near the pond, but that is to be expected), and most importantly the apartments are in great shape (full size W/D in every unit :D) and the staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. The only downfall I can currently think of, is the elementary school zoned for this area is terrible. However, that is in no way Belmont at Greenbrier's fault so they still deserve 5 stars!

I have lived at Belmont for three years. If moving were less expensive, I would leave today…read more My issues have been that rent has gone up significantly each year ($400, $200), but amenities have not increased. The air conditioning in the pool room is sometimes off for no reason, making the room unusable. The grounds are littered with paper and bottles, and the garbage is frequently overflowing. The neighbors hang out in a garage, as if it were an outdoor space--drinking and working on cars. I see someone selling packages out of her car weekly. The children are very loud around here, although my building is quiet at night. The tennis court has been closed for 3 years in anticipation of a pickleball court. There is constant change in renters. Finally, the front office people change about every six months. The tour and office/pool area are deceptive. The actual apartments and amenities are not as nice as advertised.

Warning...This review is lengthy. Read at your own risk!!!…read more Lakeville Townhomes is a clean, quiet community. Ideal for single living or families. It's also conveniently located near shopping, entertainment, and grocery stores. I'm impressed at the square footage to price comps and hope rates remain reasonable and affordable! I can also appreciate the lawn care team and individual water meter readings. Ms. Pat & Parish make a great team! Always kind and just friendly people. Most units are updated with material comparable to the design era and area. Overall low maintenance which works for me. Lakeville is nice but it can be better. You can stop here or read on for some of my thoughts about the community over a 8+ year residency. Lakeville, let's step out of our comfort zone and show our residents we appreciate their residency outside of sending yearly contract renewals with the occasional rent increase to include the introductions of the next fad amenity that's nice to have but not a got to have. While I adore my community, I do have some dislikes hence the 4 star rating. For instance, can we have some adult, kid, and furry baby friendly amenities (i.e. dog park, grilling station, swings to accompany the playground). A stop sign at the inner neighborhood intersection would be great seeing how the speed bumps are not a deterrent enough for folks not to mindlessly speed. A kids playing sign at the points of entry in the neighborhood would be wonderful also. I'm not sure about most but it would be nice if the laundry facility could be converted to a fitness center. Let's think of creative way to reuse the sq. footage available!!! Valet trash is nice but it's not worth the monthly fee when you have no use for it. Why do I have to pay an admin fee for a service the company decided to use to making billing easier administratively for the front office??? Long story short, I can do without all the extra fees. Community appreciation events would be nice especially seeing how the mature trees in the courtyard were removed 2 year+ ago for the worlds smallest playground and nothing more. We had to increase our renters insurance from $100k to $300k for what??? We're still waiting on the plans to come to fruition but I digress. Let's also consider back to school events, school supply drive, block party, neighbor meet and mingle, holiday events like costume competitions, pumpkin carving contest, card decorating, kid crafts, egg hunt, cookies and cocoa morning rush, pizza party, Sunday sundae event, breakfast on the go...the list goes on.

Worst management. Charged us due to using the dumpster when moving out. Had black mold which took…read morethem 2 weeks to deal with then roaches that they bombed but didn't solve the problem. Do not recommend.

Wellllllll.....the amber in a great area the heart of greenbrier. great schools close to all…read moreshopping. Neighborhood......well my neighbors are very noisey verbally and loud music ive notified leasing office theyve done absolutly nothing but when someone calls them as say my children are loud they call me and ask me to quiet down. so i have to call police to disturbing the peace since they cant do anything about it. Clubhouse.......it was told to me that the clubhouse was open 24hrs such as their similar communities within the bonadventure group....LIES. only the gym is 24hrs. during the business day when the office is open is the only time you can go to the rest of the clubhouse. not really provdind you access to you luxury amenities if you work majority. not only is it only open during business hours but all doors lock ar 4pm whcih is 2-3 hours before the office is closed which means youll have to go downstairs to ask them to open a door for you. very inconvient and non luuxurious. i dont pay 1600 a month to be screened upon going into a room or not having room available when i feel like playing a game of billards. Staff are very non-chelant like when you talk to them they just give an answer and dont really care no real solution. seems like they are just there for a check. sometimes even rude. dont be fooled by their courtrous behavior and manner to get you in the door. after you sign the lease they will turn into the biggest jerk ever especially the maintaince supervisor i believe his name is rob or somehting such a rude snoby jackass. my advice, nice looker but if your looking for a nice luxury neighborhood RUN go elsewhere. nothing ever works fire pit always down, printers always down in business center, and the media room tv never works properly nor does it have an xbox as advertised nor does the surround sound work. it sucks only thing luxury about the amber is the prices.

It looked like a nice area - near the mall but once I started living there it was a different story. There were trees growing out of the gutters and my patio would flood every time it rained. There is always trash and spiderwebs in the breezeway. There are trees that have been cut down but not removed. The fence that separates the golf course is old and broken. there are huge holes in the ground that are hazardous. my appliance weren't hooked up properly and It didn't even have a microwave. Management was sarcastic and unresponsive. I would have to contact them at least twice before I got a response. I got out of my lease early because I couldn't stand living there anymore. the smell was horrible. It reminded me of the projects.

The one and only review is completely false…read more We have lived at Aspen for close to 3 years. And it has been nothing but wonderful. Su is absolutely amazing (even if you make complaints) and will try her hardest to make sure things get taken care of. I have never seen dog poop anywhere in the complex and yes the walls are thin but you cant blame the complex for your noisey nieghbors you gotta blame the noisey people. We lived upstairs and after new people moved in below us about a year and a half into our time there thats when we started complaining both to Su and to gardis. Our neighbors where horrible. Slamming doors creating walls shaking and mirrors falling from our apartment. Tv and sound sysytem so loud that i could tell they were watching Captain America. We even tried going down there and knocking and never answered. We went through all the steps and Su was gracious at dealing with our complaints. We are now in a transition apartment waiting for our newly gorgeously renovated apartment that will be ready by Feb 2016. The model looks fantastic and i cannot wait to have that kitchen. Apartment living can be rough. You have no control over your neighbors, it isnt yours. But just being a good neighbor is all ya gotta do! Thanks SU and Kristine for being freaking awesome!!!!

Our cat adored feeling like she was outside lounging in the sun. We miss living here!!! Highly recommend.

It was clean, odor free, and well appointed. The seating area on the ground floor is currently closed due to COVID. We are hoping that within the near future it will be re-opened. Unfortunately, the roof top deck access available for all the residents is also closed. This is disappointing but I'm sure that they're complying with the governors directives and it will be made available again soon. Our 8th floor flat in this circa 1904 building was as expected. Nicely laid out and spic and span. Dimensions not exactly what we had calculated but we were able to move our furniture around a bit and made it work. Since we've been here we've a couple of minor issues. We were extremely impressed by the way they were dealt with. Literally, within hours which was greatly appreciated. The system that the leasing company use has a multitude of capabilities from submitting work orders, to paying for rent and utilities. Since COVID-19, and until recently, the gym was shut due comply with the governors recommendations. The gym is now open, albeit at a smaller capacity, the leasing company is making a concerted effort to re-open it. It's necessary to book a gym session for the moment and that can be accomplished via the app. So, thanks to KimEdwards and her colleagues, so far, we're happy with our little flat. We hope that the roof top desk on the Virginia Building will be open soon so we can see the sites offered by this lovely city. The location of this building is incredible. Surrounded by water, parks, shops, restaurants....Who could ask for anything more. As I said above, we've only been here 6 weeks and hope that things continue to be very satisfactory.
