Warning - They look good on social media, but they really have a lot of quality control problems. Expect to get ghosted over and over when you ask for help with corrections. Our list of corrections is incredibly long and there's no need to air out all of the dirty laundry at this point, but it's important to point out that it's been far from a good experience in having them handle a very expensive project. We hired Green Valley Landscape Dev, Inc. in Hesperia to redo our yard, including new plants, concrete work, and pool coping. Unfortunately, the project turned into a stressful, drawn-out, and disappointing experience. What was promised as a 2-3 month job took over a year to complete, primarily due to delays with the coping color and other "complications." Communication about timelines was inconsistent, and the prolonged process left our yard unusable for most of the year. To make matters worse, 15 plants died after planting, including a palm tree, which was especially frustrating given the investment. The concrete work is also poorly done. We have white powder residue, chips, cracks, and noticeable water pooling because the concrete wasn't leveled properly. When we brought this up, we were told the concrete issues were the fault of "Holiday Rock" in Adelanto, not something we should have to deal with as the customer. We also had an issue with the price changing after our agreement because they "forgot to include certain costs." Thankfully, we were able to resolve that, but it added to the overall frustration. Juan Sr. is a nice person, and the team clearly knows landscaping, but that doesn't make up for the poor results and lack of follow-through. They've come out multiple times after completion but still haven't fixed the concrete issues or addressed the dead plants adequately. Is there a lower rating than 1 star? So frustrated! Plants they planted are cheap weed tullies and they look like hell! Tearing them all out! Worst Father /Son company we have ever worked with! Do NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! And they screwed up the plumbing - we either have full fountain flow or SPA bubbles - Not Both! They did not plumb it correctly! After dealing with a horrible pool "contactor," Juan Sr and Juan Jr came and saved our backyard! I had very little vision for our remaining unlandscaped land. Juan Sr/Jr's suggests were amazing and within budget. They were up front with the time schedule and once the job began, the entire crew was punctual, tidy and very professional. They completed the backyard desert rock scape, planted several palm trees, bushes, large accent rocks and added lighting. They also built a block wall/pillars and installed wrought iron gates about a year ago. We recently rehired them to install an alumawood 15x45' patio cover with LED lighting and fans. Again, their price was right on, work was well done and we were left without any mess! I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone seeking landscape improvements! read more

Looks like a very professional and very reputable company. All of this being considered, I have experienced disappointing results from this company. All of my contacts have been with Juan Jr. (The owners son). Juan Jr. met with me to do a block wall repair, and landscaping, also at the same time he met with me to do a complete rehab estimate on my pool. After a few attempts, I finally received the bid for the block wall rebuild, that was being paid for by a third party. I have waited approximately 4 months for the completed estimate for the pool remodel. Approximately 30 days ago I reached out to Juan Jr. one last time to find out about the pool estimate. Juan Jr. text me and asked if he could meet with me again to go over the plans and the expectations for the pool. He confirmed two dates with me that were available, and I told him that I was available either one of those days. This communication went ignored for 3 weeks, and that's the last I've heard from Juan Jr. Throughout the years, I have had vast experience with numerous contractors in many different fields. These actions are unacceptable. For this reason, I hesitate to recommend this company. read more

Juan and his team are very professional and honest. They help you design and execute your dreams and ideas. They built a retaining wall for us and we had them install concrete, artificial grass and a splash pad for the kids. They do beautiful work and treat your property with respect. They're very reliable and trustworthy. Would definitely recommend them in the future. read more

2 weeks ago I had someone go out to my home and do an estimate .that person said they would email me the next day with an estimate I haven't received an email or a call the office nobody ever answers and it's been over 2 weeks. We started using Green Valley Landscape in 2015. We had just purchased a house w/5 acres, and the property had 6,000 sq. ft. of grass, and non-desert plants; we needed everything removed, and proper landscaping. Green Valley did an outstanding job! We have called Green Valley out two more times for more proper desert landscape work; always, they did a perfect job, always cleaned-up after the job, and the price is very reasonable. We still had 2 1/2 acres of natural oak which hadn't been trimmed in maybe 15-20 years and tons of debris on the ground. Plus, we needed a couple of acres sprayed for severe weed growth....we had a really rainy winter in 2016! Anyway, again Green Valley did an outstanding job in every aspect!
