If you're down to scrounge, this place might be for you (I'd just urge you to wash your hands after). That said, I specifically went here today because I needed a stapler. Mine went missing when I moved (probably in some box I've yet to unpack in my storage unit), and there's zero need to purchase a brand new stapler when I know I can get an old reliable Swingline from a thrift place like this (plus, I remembered on my first amble through here that they had a whole basket of staplers). Sure enough, I was able to acquire a stapler. But you can bet your ass that I brought along some staples to test out said staplers... the first one I picked up had a busted spring, but the second was fully functional. Both had been priced at $3. I mention this simply as a word of warning to consider testing before you buy.) I also picked up a bobbin thread case and a quart sized bag of crayons (both priced at $3) while I was there. This place is good for finding the kind of craft stuff your granny would keep around at a low price. And honestly, you're doing the environment a BIG favor to snag this kind of thing off a thrift store shelf rather than "convenience buy" it off Amazon or whatever. You can save money and feel good about yourself. The rest of the store has stuff like glassware, clothing, kids stuff, and holiday decor. It's not all amazing stuff. I reckon a lot of folks donate stuff they don't care to sort through when an elderly parent finally kicks it. The employee behind the checkout counter was a little slow to bother acknowledging me, but once we were interacting, they were friendly enough and wished me a good day; seemed like they were happy I actually bought something instead of just browsing.

I was intrigued to find some brand new holiday merchandise from well-known retailers, including Target - and enjoyed that one wall was devoted to all holidays (meaning you can purchase Halloween items now). There is a no-refund, no-return policy for most items - electronics for sure - so I did walk away from a $10'dehydrator. All in all, a fun spot to walk around, but prices seemed a bit steep. I found a few things including MN Twins Zubaz pants, elf from elf on a shelf, vintage felt Santa, pig tail barbecue turner new in box, Justin Timberlake 20/20 CD, and a wooden log foot stool or shoe rack. The staff was super friendly. The prices weren't ridiculously high. There are bathrooms at the back right corner of the store. There were small half carts and the rolling baskets. Parking was plentiful. The store is super clean and not cluttered. Stop in and maybe you'll find a treasure or 2 or 3.

Honestly, for a thrift place, things were remarkably well organized and not in too bad of disarray-- I've seen A LOT worse, lol. It was also pretty big, so I was there awhile scrounging the aisles. You will find a fair amount more clothing and footwear that's female-coded than male-coded in this store (I use those terms simply because I don't think clothing is restricted to gender-- I'm a guy who wears both "men's" and "women's" stuff). The ratio is skewed in that direction though, just to let you know. There's also plenty of children's stuff. And knick-knacks galore. Furniture, electronics, kitchenware. Just lots and lots of your typical thrift shop stuff. It was hopping inside. Possibly because it was Tuesday, which is Senior Discount Day (20% off), but yeah, people were enjoying looking around. I'm always glad to see people thrifting and reusing stuff that still has life in it. I personally came out of the shop with some nearly-new winter shoes for under twenty dollars, plus some very affordable thank you cards + envelopes! I was pretty happy.

They've been here, in an exurb of Minneapolis, for about 20 years. It's like a store you'd have found in rural Arizona 30 years ago. The couple and their daughter have a museum quality changing collection of all kinds of Native American jewelry, blankets, kachina dolls, literature, etc. The dad makes jewelry which is sold there. They have earrings for $30 and Tommy Singer squash blossom necklaces for $5,000. Worth the drive.
