The food here looks good and tastes good but the smell of the space is of burnt oil and every time I come here it smells this way. For an experienced cook like myself, this smell evokes toxicity, carcinogenic, free radicals in my otherwise healthy meals. Are the cooks not trained to use appropriate temperatures for the oils they use? I hate leaving this review (because this is a really positive business that makes really delicious food) but burnt oil is definitely an issue. My wife forgot her mask so covered her mouth and nose to be respectful of others and apologize for forgetting her mask at home. She was treated beyond rude by the staff and the lone patron besides her. We realize these are tough and unique times but common sense has left our society, as to get to this establishment she had to wade through a crowd of non mask waring big dipper patrons. I stumbled upon green source during my walk around downtown. Maybe 20 minutes from my hotel, not the cutest exterior but give it a chance because it's a hidden gem! The inside is clean and well presented, and the options are endless! Whether you're in the mood for freshly pressed juice, smoothies or acai bowls (my personal favorite)... they have an option for every mood. I had the sunrise bowl and it was beautiful! When I first started going here, it was my favorite place to get breakfast! The smoothie bowls were made fresh, right in front of you. Even though this took a while longer, it was worth the wait! In the last couple months, they have increased their prices but decreased the quality of their bowls. Now the smoothie base is pre-made and really icy, clumpy, and overall gag-worthy. Don't even think about asking for it to be made fresh, it's doesn't fly here. I like this place and the food & drink is good but the owners need to 1. Teach the cashiers how to count change back and 2. Teach the servers to call out the name of the person on the order. They only have one who does a good job of this and that's the manager I think. If this doesn't improve I will go somwhere else. Actually most of the counter workers give off a negative vibe. If you're not dressed like hipster college kid they are just very standoffish with you: They need to grow-up and realize what customers have the $ and which ones don't. read more

Horrible customer service. Very entitled energy from Manager and employees. Im a DoorDash, we are pretty keen on what good customer service is considering how dashers deliver food from just about any restaurant. I've almost completed 1000 deliveries here in Missoula with a 4.8 rating. Never had a confrontation like this one in my 1+ years of DoorDash. The manager was in this morning when I went in for the DoorDash. The employees were doing there jobs, obviously a little more stressed and focused than normal. I waited in the the "order" line for a minute until I realized they had a "pick up" line so I decided to move to the "pick up". I waited for about 25 minutes until everyone in the store was served. (Including people who came in after me) Only to be disrespected by thier lack of attention to their customers. She asked for the name on the order, confirmed it with the store. She the pointed behind me at my order that lay sitting at one of their tables instead of the area marked pick-up. I picked it up and I left with obvious distraught considering there was no direction as to where the order was besides the "pick-up" area and I had waited for 30 minutes after everyone was helped. I entered my car and proceeded to complete the delivery. The manager then ran out to my car and starting knocking on my window. I rolled it down and she said, "Don't be disrespectful to my employees." The audacity that woman had after they treated me threw me off. I said, "What are you going to do about it!" She then thought instead of acting impulsively and tried to threaten me by "Calling DoorDash" and then proceeded to tell me to "Never come back!" Only because I gave them the finger outside their store after picking up the order and after treating me as less important bc I'm a just a DoorDash. It literally took less than 1/10 of a minute to ask and point, why did I have to wait 30? In conclusion: I was in their for 1 açaí bowl that had been sitting behind me for 30 minutes. One employee miraculously decided after helping everyone that she would ask and then point behind me. All it took was 10 seconds of any of the employees time to properly help me. I was then yelled at in my own car by the manager for showing my obvious displeasure. read more
