But when I told them that the septic tank was backing up into a downstairs shower the woman on the phone was very nice and said she would call to see if they could work me in. They were very fast at getting back with me and letting me know just exactly what time they could be here. When they got here they spent some time in finding the septic tank because I had no idea where to locate it. The ground to the tank was very soft and could not be driven over. They took the time to measure and to see if there hoses would reach. Thank goodness it did,but the gentleman was even trying to find a person I could call if it did not. Set up an appointment with Atlas to pump our septic system after the first comany we hired was a no show. The morning of the appointment I get a phone call telling me they can't come pump my septic tank because they have nowhere to dispose of their waste and will call me back and get me back on the schedule and I heard nothing till the morning of the 13th and by then it was too late as I had hired a septic compmany that actually showed up when they said they would. We thought the story Atlas gave us was suspicious as we had seen other septic company trucks in our neighborhood so we called Lincoln County Environmental Services and told them what Atlas had told us and they said that was news to them! A supervisor told us it sounded like they had a cheaper place to dispose of their waste that was no longer available to them and just didn't want to pay the fees to dispose of their waste in Lincoln county. If for whatever reason you don't want to do the job, just tell us you don't want to do it, but at least be honest about it!!
