This yelp is specifically for MARIA the store manager whom is extremely rude and to wonder how she ever got a job as a manager is mind blowing. The last couple visits, I've been been dealing with a younger white girl with purple hair and usually she is very helpful and the assistant manager seems to be helpful as well. For the past couple weeks I've been going in and buying Jalisco beer and the cases just haven't been ringing up so everyone but MARIA will usually find a beer around the same price which is $15.99 and scan that one. Today and the past couple times she gets a case that's around $20.00 and says "sorry that's all I can do" no that's not all you can do MARIA! Fix the skew in the Jaliscos it's been weeks! Whatcha doing chick!? I also let her know today that again the arco across the way is $15.99 and have been out. She didn't give a rats booty! Well guess what MARIA after I left ur shitty attitude I went across the street and they had my Jaliscos for $15.99! Due to Maria and the majority of her crappy staff that have terrible attitudes. They have a great variety of beverages and tons of alcohol to choose from. Their snack and candy selection alone is generally what keeps us here for awhile since we always seem to have a tough time deciding. They also have a good variety of chips and ice cream along with emergency items like tums, medication, liquid IV, hydrogen peroxide, etc. The store is small but they pack in a lot of items without making it feel too cramped. It's a huge bonus that they accept credit cards now!

It's convenient because it's on the way to the freeway but that's about all it is convenient for. Inside the staff isn't friendly or helpful most of the time. I can be standing their for a while in front of their faces waiting to pay, and they still keep having their side conversations with each other. I have yet to have a good experience at the AMPM. You will almost always encounter homeless people here approaching people for money or food. There is a McDonald's behind this gas station, so it gets pretty crazy here at times. You will also find a lot of large semi trucks here. The car wash at this location also sucks. It doesn't wash your car well and it definitely doesn't dry your car at all! The dryers need to be fixed on this thing. You can see what I mean in the photos.

I don't know the whole intentional or not but I would assume that the system should automatically recognize that I paid in cash inside but for some reason when I got home I realized I was being charged the credit card price which is an additional 10 cents. I get a lot of discounts at Shell because I have the application but I included the screenshot to show that I was basically charged an extra 10 cents per gallon for absolutely no reason. Not sure who this could happen by accident when I paid in cash.

We both wished each other a nice afternoon and off I went to fill my car. As I was pulling out here comes the young man, I was confused but rolled down my window. This is by far our favorite self serve car wash in the area. It's only $6 for the basic drive…read morethrough car wash without wax and it takes way less time than washing at home with soap and a bucket would. My favorite feature is the timer on the drying portion. No more guessing how much more air you'll get and whether it'll be enough for the whole car. The self serve car wash I used to go to didn't have this feature and one time I only got part of my car through before the air turned off so the back end of the car was all spotted by the time I got home from running errands! The timer ensures a nice spot free finish every time. Well maybe not completely free of spots but mostly which is good enough lol It accepts credit card so you don't have to wait in line inside to pay before heading to the wash with a code. Alternatively If you're getting gasoline you can pay at the pump and enter a code. Overall convenient clean and reasonable priced! Thank you for maintaining this location and keeping it looking new!
