The screen had lines and would black out, making the laptop unusable. When I took it to the Apple Store, I was quoted $1,100 just to send it in for diagnosis, or $1,400 for a new laptop. I contacted two other repair shops, but they didn't handle Macs or water damage. Thankfully, I found San Francisco Bay Computer Services. They quoted me $467 for the repair, which included a screen with the Apple logo. I paid a 50% deposit, and they ordered the part, which arrived in just one day. I dropped off the laptop in the morning and picked it up the same day--fully repaired and working perfectly! They also provided a 30-day warranty on labor and assured me the parts have a manufacturer warranty. To top it off, I received a 20% discount on labor for my next visit (not that I hope to need it anytime soon!). Ed was responsive on the phone and texted me when laptop was ready for pickup. Their professionalism, efficiency, and fair pricing make them stand out. I highly recommend this business to anyone in need of computer repairs, especially for Macs!

It makes me curious about the legitimacy of the other reviews for him. They do not represent the experience I had with him at all. This is the story: I hired Adal to help me optimize the visibility of my website. The first project was for a natural search. He charged me $2,000. That seemed like a lot, but he lead me to believe that he would get great results. We talked about maximizing the most valuable keywords that related to my business. He made a list of 1st and 2nd tier keywords. I assumed he would work on the first tier keywords. He did not. instead he focused all his energy on one obscure keyword out of list #2. Yes, he raised my visibility for that keyword, but it was rarely used by consumers. He still wanted full payment of 2K. I had already paid 1K and that was far too much for what he had accomplished. Before I realized that something was going wrong, I started another project with him. That project was to optimize my visibility on my Google Adwords account. It was already working well, but I desired a little more visibility. I had assumed, he would fine tune the keywords in my Adwords campaign. Though, he went off on an obscure tangent again. He wanted to funnel all of my ad money towards a large banner ad that would follow people around once they visited my site. I didn't see the value in that, but he had already spent several hours on the project and would be billing me for those. The cost of the Adwords Campaign was $1600. The kicker was, I ended up calling Google myself. They were able to walk me through the adjustments I needed to make in an hour. At that point, I expressed my unhappiness with his work. He didn't attempt to make anything right. He just said that I didn't appreciate his work. Therefore, there was no point in continuing. I was so surprised by his lack of accountability. I run my own business. it is very successful. I don't think I've ever let a client walk away feeling like they didn't get what they paid for. It's really bad business. While I don't doubt that he spent many hours working on my project, there was a ridiculously poor result. I am a wardrobe stylist. This would be like me taking payment for a 20-hr job to build a client's wardrobe and coming back to them with only one dress. I had put all my faith in Adal to handle this for me because I was intimidated by the process. Adal did not have my best interest in mind, but rather was most interested in billing for more time to increase his profits. This has been a very disappointing experience. I walk away from it with a very good, but expensive lesson.
