Living Earth Herbs is amazing, and I've been purchasing from them for years. I use their products…read morefor personal use, and as components for my small herbal skincare business, and cannot emphasize the quality of their products enough. Their wound liniment is a staple in my medicine cabinet, their carrier oils are the best I've come across, and their essential oils and bulk herbs are always top tier. If you compare their pricing with other sellers of similar quality goods, you will find their pricing is ridiculously reasonable. To top all of that off, the folks there have always been super sweet. Since I order online, I only have interactions with them over the phone or through cute smiley faces written on invoices, but even when that note is explaining that they ran out of something I ordered so they refunded me that amount, there's just a certain warmth to it. Businesses like these are rare, and that human connection is needed more than ever. When I support this business I support myself, and I support the type of world I want to live in.

I asked the proprietor about finding the type of Basmati Rice I have been served in Indian restaurants, that is incredibly long grained, and I have not found in local markets. He suggested one type he sold, and I bought a bag. He showed my wife a box mix for Palak Paneer, which intrigued her, and he helped her locate all the ingredients to make it at home. The rice came out perfect, and the dish was the best curry meal we have ever had. I recently visited Good Vibrations apothecary store in Lynnwood, WA, with the intention of…read morepurchasing a specific item. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by an unexpected surprise: a dog that seemed to materialize out of nowhere. As someone with a mild dog allergy, this was not a welcome greeting. The dog was persistent in its attention, refusing to leave me alone, which made for a slightly uncomfortable shopping experience. The situation was further compounded by the associates' lack of attentiveness. Despite the store being relatively empty, the staff seemed to be preoccupied with their own tasks, leaving me to fend for myself. I approached one associate, hoping for assistance, but they were so engrossed in their work that they couldn't even spare a moment to check me out for a single item. It was as if I were invisible, a mere inconvenience in their day. The most egregious display of poor customer service came when a female associate was too busy talking with another customer who was complaining about everything. She couldn't even be bothered to check me out for a simple transaction. It was clear that she was more interested in the other customer's complaints than in helping the customers who were actually trying to make purchases. This was a stark reminder of the store's blatant disregard for customer service. The entire experience was not welcoming and this is a 5-star rated store? I don't think so. The store's lack of customer focus and the associates' blatant disregard for their jobs were glaring issues that need to be addressed. I hope this review reaches the right people, as the store has potential, but it needs to prioritize its customers if it wants to keep them. I am not going to be coming back until something maybe improves better.
