Came here for the first time on Easter. Expected it to be crowded. I'm also glad I printed my tickets as it said on website, the line was ridiculously long for tickets on peoples phones. I would've been so upset. The place is big lots of space for kids to run and play. Lots of photo prompts which is nice because it was Easter even pictures with the Easter bunny. The animals looked so sad except the rabbits they looked great. Not a lot of options for snacks or food. I'm also going to assume they wouldn't have so many since it is a farm and they are probably afraid people would be feeding the animals with it. I feel this place is for really young kids my daughters are 7&11. And we were done in an hour they really didn't enjoy much.

My friends and I came here this past Saturday for pumpkin picking, and I would hardly call what this farm has a pumpkin patch. It was basically an open field with very small pumpkins scattered randomly. It costs 12 dollars per person, and a pumpkin to pick from the field comes with your ticket. Pumpkin picking is on the weekends during October. There are farm animals such as goats, chickens, and horses, as well as tractors and slides for young children. My friends and I still enjoyed ourselves since it was beautiful day spent outside, and a great day to take photos, but Green Meadows Farm is very underwhelming. To spend 12 dollars to go to a place that doesn't have much going on, with an extremely misleading "pumpkin patch", is a ripoff.

If you are looking for some pumpkin-related activities to do with young kids, and you don't want to go all the way to Queens or Long Island, Green Meadows Farm in Brooklyn offers a great opportunity for some fun family activities. Located by the Floyd Bennet Aviator Field near Dead Horse Bay[1], Green Meadows Farm is easy to reach by car, but it requires a bit of work by public transportation, likely a subway and a bus. However, I think it is totally worth it. The place is massive, and there is something for everyone: There are literally dozens of tractors for kids to play, and an operating bulldozer. There are several farm animals including cows, sheep, llamas, rabbits, small pigs, etc... You can't pet the animals now due to COVID restrictions, but you can buy a head of lettuce[2] and feed the animals. There is a pumpkin patch, several massive slides, scarecrows, giant Adirondacks chairs, plus picnic tables, covered tent areas, and many more things. And after Halloween, you can actually smash the pumpkins and feed them to the animals. Check out this video: https://greenmeadowsfarmbrooklyn.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Pumpkin_Smash.mp4 I was very impressed by the safety measures adopted during COVID: Personnel are all wearing masks at all times, and every one has a spray bottle of disinfectant in their hands and they use it frequently. My advice would be to come at 10am, when it opens. The place started to get crowded after 11am, and by 12 noon it was pretty packed. Buy tickets at least 2 days in advance, as weekend tickets sell out quickly. ------------------ [1] And its famous bottle beach: https://www.yelp.com/biz/dead-horse-bay-brooklyn [2] For $6... Ouch!

I used to come to this farm as a child back when it was on a real farm somewhere in Queens? Now it's on Floyd Bennet Field and it's really weird seeing these animals in a extremely tree-less and green-less environment but I mean it's okay I guess. There's a ton of stuff for young kids to enjoy here, from climbing into a giant tractor to giant playground slides, big tires, stationary hay rides, a working construction vehicle (stationary), plenty of photo opportunities and a whole pre-cut pumpkin garden. The best part is the hay ride, which again is very very weird when you're just going down an old airplane runway without anything to look at but long grass but I doubt your child will notice. Then there's all the animals which apparently you can't pet because of some dumb NY State law. You can feed them though, they sell heads of lettuce and arm grabbers you can facilitate food to animal-mouth with. They're cute to look at either way. Biggest bummer is the total lack of decent food / drinks here. It's just bags of chips and soda. Whatever!

My first time visiting Green Meadows Farm at Aviator Sports and Event Center. I decided to visit after viewing and purchasing discounted tickets on Groupon for the Easter Egg Hunt. I didn't know that there would be live animals there so that was pretty awesome. My niece and granddaughter were able to feed the animals which they enjoyed. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back to visit again.

Last minute I decided to take my son pumpkin picking. Went on their website everything was detailed and very informative. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a employee who assisted me quickly. Very spacious farm with a lot of beautiful animals. Staff where all friendly and informative. All the animals seems well manner. At first I was scared to allow my son to feed the animals but then I conquered my fear and allow him to and he had such an phenomenal time. Pumpkin picking was fun so much pumpkins. In all shape and sizes. I enjoy the bumpy ride and the delicious fresh roasted butter corn. My family and myself had an blast. Thank you

Would recommend this farm, they have low prices. You get to pet and feed cabbage to alpacas, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, sheeps, cows and goats. There is also a corn box with a lot of corn to play like sand. There are a lot of places to wash your hands with water or hand sanitizer, there are free rides, the foods are amazing and there are bouncy houses. There are also horse rides for kids under 75lbs for just 4 dollars.

Great wholesome time for everyone to enjoy farm animals. Went to the Easter egg event with my little sibling. Got to do the Easter egg race and overall was pleasant vibes all around. You can purchase lettuce to feed the animals.

DO NOT GO HERE! Don't waste your time and money. Each ticket is $12. Our family of 4 wasted $48. This is not a pumpkin patch, it's an embarrassment ! What a waste of time ! We're very disappointed. They had barely any pumpkins, I couldn't take even one decent picture of my kids. The hay ride was full of carbon monoxide, I literally feel sick after hay ride. There was nothing fun, kids were super bored. We just got ripped off $48 and wasted our time. I do not recommend Green Meadows Pumpkin Patch Farm to anyone! The worst pumpkin patch we've ever seen! DO NOT GO! Absolutely HORRIBLE! Please see photos! I cannot believe these people are charging $12 per ticket for this!

Proof that the Yelp says it's open- when it's actually closed because it doesn't say WEEKENDS ONLY unless you call.

Typically I would venture to DR or Grand Cayman for such an experience but now that I found this priceless venue close to home I have to rethink flying away for it. Tony Danza (not the actor) set it up in the 70s and hosts beginners and advanced riders equally. The facility has indoors and outdoors accommodations no matter your skill level. We had the best night at Michael's!…read more I knew Michaels was an iconic restaurant deep in Brooklyn. I've seen their sauce sold in stores before, and we finally made the trip out for dinner. We went around Christmas and it was decorated inside. The restaurant was packed. Every single table was full. Everyone was having the best time. Even the bar was totally full of people ordering drinks before they were seated. The food is classic, New York Italian. Everything is a very well done version. The veal Parm was one of the best I've ever had. The caramel cake at the end was truly beyond. I can't recommend this experience enough. We ate for three hours had amazing cocktails, great bottles of wine and a really delicious meal. Looking around, you could tell the diners were locals enjoying a beloved neighborhood restaurant. The interior looks like a classic Italian restaurant and service is very formal. It was quite busy for a weekday night. There's valet parking so you don't have to stress about finding street parking nearby. We ordered fried calamari, baked clams, baked vodka penne, and the Fisherman's Platter. We were served bread and some antipasto to start. The calamari was a classic and I loved the sauce -- it had a good spicy kick to it. The baked clams were okay. The Fisherman's Platter is a must and good value with its generous portion of seafood. It can definitely be shared amongst two people. The baked vodka penne was also good but portion was on the smaller side. I would say Michael's is a must try at least once.
