I had 4 cubic yards of the garden mix delivered this morning. Looking at the pile, I was convinced…read morethat it was not 4 cubic yards. Even got out my measuring tape and yard sticks. I called and sent pictures. They were very polite and professional and after checking with everyone involved in the order assured me that it was 4 cubic yards. I was still doubtful but after having moved over half of it to my raised garden beds I am happy to say that they were absolutely right. So, Andolina gets five stars from me for a quality product, at a great price, delivered timely and pleasantly, dumped in the exact location I requested and having terrific customer service and on top of that, handling an undeserved customer complaint with professionalism. Highly recommend!!

The ideal fall outing! We went on a warm Saturday afternoon in late September, and were pleased to…read moresee that it wasn't crowded at all. Lots of parking, no lines for food, and plenty of room to roam in the pumpkin patch. We grabbed a wagon and some clippers and found a pumpkin to cut off the vine. There are plenty of pre-cut pumpkins too if you'd rather just pick one that way (and take some cute pics). The wood-fired pizza was SO good and fairly priced. We really enjoyed the salsiccia pie, but all of them sounded delicious. And had to get a half dozen cider donuts for the road, obviously. I'm looking forward to returning when our kids are a bit older to try more of the family-friendly activities!

I absolutely love this set up even more than the last location! There is so much for kids to do here and lots for adults too. We picked our pumpkins for the season and considering the amount of people here, there were still many great looking pumpkins. The lines were too long for the donuts/food so I didn't get to try any but I am hoping to eventually try the cider donut in the future! Definitely bring your friends and family here to check out the Hall Family Farm. Side note- I know the Halls from many years ago and they are a wonderful family! If you see them around be sure to meet them!!!

I went in the other day to purchase a hole saw and arbor that I needed for a job. True Value did not have the size I needed (pretty typical, as their inventory seems to be perpetually low). So I bought the next size down, thinking I might make it work. $50. As it turned out, I never used it. Never opened it or even took it out of the truck. Went back to return the items today and got $40 back. I was told there was a 20% restocking fee on all returned items. $10 charge for something that would take 10 seconds to put back on the shelf. I never heard of such a thing. Complete rip off. They will not get another cent from me.

Truly I can't say enough great things about our trip to Snowflake Village last weekend! We arrived…read moreabout 5 mins before they opened and waited over in an apartment parking lot until they opened their entrance. They opened right on time and we went in to park. Shockingly there was only one other car there on a Saturday in December, which we were very happy about. We anticipated a big crowd. We parked and walked up to the front, they have a lot of signage all around that I think is more so for their busy times. I can imagine it gets hectic and this is how they keep folks organized and sane lol. Once you walk in there's decorations everywhere and so many photo opps. I kept saying to my boyfriend how cute it has to be at night with all the lights. They have all kinds of different size trees with different "bushyness". Each tree is tagged and labeled, they tell you once you find your dream tree simply remove the bottom half of the tag and bring it to a staff member. They then take your tree, give it a fresh cut and wrap it for travel. Then you jump in your car, follow a fun trivia trail right to where you pick it up. Again, this is more for busy days but it was fun lol. Then they load the tree into the car for you. We had a pick up truck so there was no need to tie it down but the car before them needed their tree tied down and the staff member helped him do that. Really great service!!! We purchased a gorgeous 8ft tree, the tree holder and a green tray to go under it all to catch water and pines. The pricing was very affordable, which also surprised me. I also loved that they have a prayer chapel where you can write a prayer and hang it on a tree. Very touching! The best part is your purchase helps to fund 30 different local charities and some goes to help Western NC too!!! This place was really special and such a fun time! My inner child was overjoyed and so fulfilled! I always have a fake tree at Christmas and this year something told me to go for the real thing. I'm so happy we chose Snowflake Village!! We had the best experience ever and will go back to them again and again. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the market for a real Christmas tree this year or in the future. Thank you so much to Kristi and Snowflake village for our beautiful tree and memories!!!

Alrighty fibre friends!…read more Let me tell you, how excited I was to find a yarn store in Waxhaw that carried hand spun yarns and more! This fabulous store has something for everyone, from Merino, alpaca, silk selection, Nylon/acrylic blends, cotton and more. The color options? Endless! The quality? Superb! And the environment presented and directed by staff? Outstanding. What I love about this store: you can feel the stories and love that goes into textile here. You can see swatches, see finished projects like cardigans, sweaters, and shawls. You can pick two skeins up and see the difference! And when I say "difference" I mean the color blends. While single colors provide a great unity. The blends have a uniqueness that is just not obtainable from commercial retail. Making any project you create unified or a one of a kind piece. This place feels like a gem. Organized and the variety is huge on all fronts. The yarn here isn't just yarn. It's a story, it's a feeling, emotion, and gives wonder to the eyes. I spent a solid half hour just walking with my jaw open going "wow... Oh wow!" Because of the love and care that goes into these precious goods, and the quality of yarn. Price point is definitely reasonable as suggested. You really cannot put a price on hand spun yarn, but if I had to do so, I would say this place is the fairest I have seen in the Carolina's. If nothing else it is worth a trip just to see the various types. Definitely worth a trip for prospective fiber artists to get an idea of material, culture, and put a feel to the materials many of us learn in college. In addition this store offers yarn from around the world. Peru, and japan to name a couple off the top of my head. Thanks to Debby (apologies for improper spelling) for making my visit feel magical and friendly. I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful experience today, and I cannot wait to come back soon to further grow my stash aka Hoard of yarns! Overall I would give the following rating: Price: 5/5 Environment: 5/5 Knowledgeable staff: 5/5 Organization: 5/5 Quality of goods: 5/5.
