As someone dealing with a decade long injury flareup and chronic stress, I was amazed by her ability to identify where my body was 'keeping the score.' Ignored my request to not touch my feet as I need surgery on them for stretched ligaments. The masseuse grabbed me by my ankles and feet to manipulate my whole leg. It felt like she was trying to manipulate my bones instead of just rubbing my muscles like I wanted. (more like amateur physical therapy). She didn't seem to notice things like flinching and "Ow!" I'll never go back. The people were very friendly (which is why I'm not "naming names"), but I'm not letting them touch me again. And I'll warn all the people I know about it.
