I came in behind a group of about 6-7 people; we were the only other ones there. The espresso machine was down, which sucked because I was really wanting some good coffee. I ordered a bison burger and Indian taco sliders. When asked if it was for here or to go, I let them know I was eating here. As I waited for my food, I watched everyone's food at the table next to me come out on plates and in bowls. Then, a staff member checked in on them to make sure everything was tasting alright and their orders were correct. When they brought my food out, it was in to-go boxes, and the mayonnaise and mustard I was told would be on the side were not, so I had to go ask for some. When I tried a bit of the meat on the Indian taco sliders, it was cold--not warm, but as if it was right out of the fridge. Nobody ever asked how my food was or checked in to see if my order was right. I asked if the meat on the tacos was supposed to be cold, and he said no, he would make me new ones. I'm about 90% sure they just tossed them in the microwave because the fry bread was a bit tough, definitely not fresh. Overall, I was pretty disappointed and probably won't be back.

I love their food a lot, especially their burgers, but I'm not very appreciative of this and think that maybe with some of the new updates that the outside window should maybe go with them or at least let people know that are standing outside that they should be served second to all the people that are already waiting inside. The nice lady told me they usually swap between the two and she was sorry, i dont blame her for not keeping track of who was there first, but the system kind of set her up for "failure" since thats they way they do it, and have done it. Also not like the guy corrected her so he knew what he was doing when he seen the line and went to the window instead. The lady behind me ended up trying to go through the drive thru with 2 cars in front her (same position she was in line inside) because she seen her prioritize that window over the true order in which people showed up. Loyal for years, this isnt running me off, but i think with a lot of the newer changes to update the place, this could just be one more thing that is improved by either taking the window out, or have a way of keeping up with the order of the line.

She was mildly apologetic and offered to comp our drinks (coffee and a boba) if we wanted to leave, or to put our order in. Mistakes happen, sure. However there's zero excuse for it taking 35 minutes for her to realize this. It's not like they were slammed and short-staffed with a wait out the door - it was a rainy Sunday at 10:45am, and the restaurant was roughly half-full. Further, had the waitress actually checked on us during our 35 minute wait, perhaps she may have noticed earlier. However she only came upstairs once, when I waved my empty coffee cup in the air. This is simply inexcusable and a complete failure of management and staff for not noticing us looking around wondering when we could eat. The decor is vintage and mid century, but yet the vibe itself is refreshing and contemporary. Lots of space to enjoy one of their coffees, frozen drinks, or loose leaf teas as well as an assorted variety of food items for both breakfast and lunch. My friend and I both went for the biscuits and sausage gravy and I was immediately back at my Granny's kitchen table on a Sunday morning. We tried 3 drinks: the chai masala hot, the pistachio tempest (special) hot and the apple cinnamon butter chai (special) both hot and cold. All were delicious! Non food: If you spend a certain amount, you get a token worth different amounts to place in the community organization jars(pictured). I believe at the end of the year, Microsoft matches that donation. How cool is that?!? There's a book space/library in the back that is a take one, leave one or leave a donation model.
