One of my favorite donut/amazing breakfast sandwiches....Tiny little joint in Miami...Honestly it adds an additional 45 minutes to my trip home... But always worth it...The donuts are the best I've ever had and the sandwiches are hardy and delicious. It's a family owned business so service and quality are actually relevant. The owner and her family are so welcoming. It's honestly my favorite part of the experience. Especially after a long stay in Northern parts of the country... Where personalities are a bit dry and cold. Or at least I think so to myself throughout the day... But honestly many individuals representing or owning aren't so courteous anymore. It's nice to see places like this thriving and not simply surviving. You won't ever leave this place feeling like your day won't be awesome. Probably most definitely will be gaining some weight. I've only been to the donut palace 4 times. Every time was great! What amazed me more about this place than anything was when I came to the counter on the 4th visit and the lady asked if I would like to order the bear claw again. How did she remember that was my order from the 3 times before? My mom got the breakfast sandwich and said it was real good. read more

Perfect stop on road trip. We needed breakfast on the road and this place was so much more preferable to McDonalds or Starbucks. The donuts were delicious. We went back in for a second kolache because it was so good. The breakfast tacos were great too. Plenty of beverage options to choose from. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. The most "creatively artful", yummy donuts in town! They are delicious and so are their sausage and cheese kolaches. My sons also love their meat pies for breakfast but they serve egg sandwiches and egg/sausage filled croissants too--always with fast, friendly helpful service" from the smiling woman at the counter. But seriously, for the other Yelp reviewers questioning why they are out of donuts or low at 11:30 or noon, do you really understand how donut shops work pretty much anywhere in the US? They cook donuts in the wee hours of the AM while some of you should be sleeping (and open up at 5:00am to serve you fresh ones that literally "melt in your mouth" from goodness). Like any other donut shop in America, they are out of their "best selling" inventory usually by 11:00am or Noon and then they are done. They do refresh sometimes but this is pretty much how most donut shops work anywhere-- even Shipleys Donuts in Houston or Dallas operates the same way. The difference is this tiny "mom & pop" local shop runs on very low staff with generally one woman serving both drive-thru counter and front counter registers simultaneously with walk-in traffic while the guy is in the back is fast cooking up replacement donuts. They do try hard to remember your favorite orders and try hard to restock your "favorite ones" if you consistently come every week at certain days for the same order. What is also amazing is the level of creativity in producing specialty holiday decorated, custom-themed donuts catering to Grove school events for special fancy donuts like I have seen (in the past) or at Halloween or Christmas. Now that's where their creative genius really comes into play and raises them far above the rest in town. Sure those custom donuts cost a bit more but oh they are worth it. If you ever want to see a "million dollar" fancy donut shop really crank out the creatively artful donuts on a "much bigger scale with a huge, hard working staff", then visit Voodoo Donuts in Orlando at Universal's CityWalk & you get the idea. This place does it for holidays on a much smaller scale with a "bare bones" staff. So for those of you whining they were out of your favorite donuts when you come strolling in at Noon for breakfast, here's an suggestion - try getting there early since they open at 5:00am (like McDonald's next door which also carries limited, "all day breakfast" items too). This woman, running the counter, is so kind that she is willing to go the extra mile to cook up an extra batch of "on the spot" donuts while probably being the "only person" running a very busy donut shop drive-thru & front in-store counter just trying to please "all" of her customers." So give her a break. I would say she is one of the "hardest workers in town" always giving excellent customer service at any time to please even the most picky customers. Great job--she deserves a pay raise & an occasional well-earned "day off to rest" from her hard work too. read more

Stopped by to do a branch visit on work. The case was pretty bare with the exception of sausage rolls, burritos and croissants. The owner informed us that it would take 10 minutes and she would be making more but only cake donuts. Not being a fan of cake donuts, we still stayed. It was more like 15 minutes but well worth the wait. I've never had a donut so light and airy. By far the best donut I have had and I can't believe they are three hours away. I will definitely look for away to visit again. The icing didn't melt and make a mess either. However the owner can definitely offer a lot of pressure for the up sale and additives. read more

We just moved here and there were no Dunkin' Donuts in the area so we found this little spot! The first day we went, we arrived a little later in the morning and all the good donuts were gone as expected so we arrived early the next day and picked up a fresh dozen! Delicious, warm and the aroma was awesome! Get customer service and fairly priced! It's been our go-to spot for donuts ever since. I loved this place! The donuts were fabulous! The lady at the counter was friendly and funny. After I tasted my donut, I really did want to turn the car around and buy the rest of her fabulous donuts. Unfortunately, my fiance pointed out that if we turned the car around to purchase the rest of the donuts, the first time we got out of the car the frosting would melt since it was over 90 degrees today. I suggested that since she only had 10 left, maybe we could actually eat them all before we got out of the car again, but we decided this was probably not the best idea either. Anyway, if you are in the Miami, OK area, be sure to stop in at the Donut Palace and get some donuts. They are the best that I've ever had (and I've eaten a lot of donuts). I tried to check in on yelp about this place and yelp says I was too far away to check in when I'm sitting right out front of the building. That being said, their donuts are very good and fresh, but you wouldn't guess that by how plain and dead the place looks. Stopped here super early in the morning on our way between illinois and new mexico after it was highly reccommended by our hotel. Let me just start by saying, these are amazing donuts!!! They fill them to order, although she speaks such broken english that we honestly didn't know what we were getting. We wanted the white fluffy cream And got more of a yellow pudding but it was still awesome! The bear claws had a great apple filling and were the size of a dinner plate! Be ware (as we were warned) she adds a few extras in the box and charged for her mistakes. And trust me, lol, that isn't a bad thing! The lady behind the counter always has a smile on her face and what I assume is her husband can be seen making the delicious donuts right there behind the counter. Large variety of donuts and they also have other items like sausage rolls.
