Oh they love green alright, but green as in your money. I was sent a $75 gift basket and we received almost non of the items specifically listed on their site - everything was substituted for a cheaper less interesting version. So, the site said almond butter, we got peanut butter, the site said Irish Soda bread, we got regular bread, the site said aged cheddar cheese, we got plain mozzarella, you get the idea. Other items were totally absent. When I e-mailed to complain, I got a snarky and rude e-mail that offered no restitution. They want your money. They'll deliver some groceries, but not what they said they would, and being as you pay up front, they don't give a damn. read more

I signed up for GEO a few years back, kept the service for about 6 months & cancelled because of the personal financial restraints of being a student at the time. At that time I enjoyed good produce & exceptional service. This is why I signed up again when I was looking for a good food box delivery service. Sadly I was very disappointed with both the quality of the produce & the service I received. * On several occasions they had produce on their weekly availability order page that were not actually available. I would get a "sorry" note in my box with either a) a substitution I didn't ask for/want or b) a credit note for which I had to call or email the day before delivery to remind them that I had credit so they wouldn't charge my card the full amount. * After getting tired of their repeated mistakes, I complained, and warned them that I was thinking of discontinuing the deliveries because of the poor service, and I was told that they would "bump" me to a VIP client to ensure no future errors occurred. When the exact same errors occurred, I was told the exact same VIP BS. *I happened several times that there were items missing from my box. When I complained, they promised me a credit to go against my next box. If I didn't remind them of the credit the day before delivery, the credit mysteriously disappeared the following week. * The quality of the produce was mostly good, but occasionally just OK, and not infrequently it would be exactly the ripeness that if you didn't eat it that day, it would be over-ripe by the next. I switched to another delivery service, and have not been disappointed. read more

Alright. I understand that when dealing with fresh grocery delivery that sometimes there will be slip ups and I feel I've been pretty forgiving. Until I got my Bin on Friday. Let me just give you an example of some of the FREQUENT problems I've had with Green earth Organics. Several times, items were missing. I am ordering a bin every week and planning my meals around the food I expect to get. And when I don't get it. It's a double rip off for me because Green Earth is still getting my money for these items and I need to go out and spend more money to replace these items. Which is the same thing that happens when I get incorrect Items. Often when I get my bin half of the stuff I ordered isn't there. And there is a little note they put on my bin that says "sorry, we were out of this so we replaced it with that". Not cool. Also, It has happened several times that the food I've received was CLEARLY rotten. I'm not just talking about a few brown spots. I'm talking about big black patches of mold and rot. I'm talking slimy stinky celery here. The food went straight from the bin into the garbage. Meaning that I had to go to the grocery store and replace the items, again. I think that the idea of a weekly organic grocery delivery is awesome. But this company is a flat out rip off. Don't let them steal your money. honestly. I have yet to recieve a delivery... after purchasing my coupon for this service over 3 weeks ago. They are very behind on orders, and customer service. It appears to be like a lottery system now, and hopefully one day in the future my green bin will show up! Wow. Disappointing. Similar to other reviewers, I was promised a delivery weeks ago with absolutely no followup from the company. After I emailed a thrid time, I was finally sent a delivery confirmation. Then, the order just never showed up. Just had to call Groupon for my refund after I'd had enough of the run around I recieved. I get that a company may find themselves over extended after a Groupon rush, but the run around and lack of response, the failure to deliver on a confirmed delivery date is unacceptable. Green Earth Organics is the worst organic food delivery in Toronto. I completely agree with the other reviews on here. Missing food, rotten food, wrong substitutions. They are HORRIBLE. Save your money for another company. read more

THE WORST! You can't cancel your bin. You can't call them. Their hotline is offline. They sent us a tiny, 1/3 of our delivery and charged us full. THE WORST COMPANY TO GO TO! They haven't replied to any emails of mine. I sent them 4, and it's been 10 days now. read more

If I could rate this a -10 stars I would. H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E customer service. Complete rip-off. The crap they sent out in their $37 bin could have been had for about half that from a proper grocery store.Yea,yea, they delivered but still, it was crap quality. EVERYTHING goes bad within a weeks time, IF it is even in consumption condition to begin with. I started with G.E.O with the intention of trying a few organic delivery services out and stick with the best of them. Now I am concerned to even try another service based on this bad experience. No communication from these people, either. Like J.W. said, all they care about is their upfront payment. I also bought a deal with Groupon and placed my order with GEO. Customer service rep emailed me back the next saying they are behind in their order and will get back to me the following week. The following week went by so I emailed them, i received no response. Then i waited another 2 weeks and sent them another email. Again no response. I wanted to try their company out before signing up with them. For sure I will not anymore. Very horrible service. I eventually got a refund from Groupon - thankfully. read more

I signed up with Green Earth Organics about 6 months ago for the $37 bin. Items were missing from the second week onwards and the quality was very bad during the last 12 weeks. It would take a month to get a replacement. I had to email often to get them to replace the items but I am out by about 2 months worth of produce now. I had to contact Visa to stop payment because Green Earth Organics kept billing even after I cancelled the account. They stopped deliveries but not billing. Sadly I am very unhappy with the produce and service received. read more
