Space to borrow a book, game or puzzle; a larger area for meetings or for a study group and a few seats at the counter by the window. It's pretty dark in the main area so if you have "old" eyes like me, you'll probably have better luck in the bigger space. If you're looking for a quick cuppa, this isn't the spot. Drinks are made to order so it takes a min and I'm not sure if the staff (for food prep) is fully trained and/or just REALLY new because that area seemed like it was struggling. After a food crawl of sorts, we were looking to wind down the evening here, but evidently this place keeps the party going, late night. A spacious spot, with plenty of seating for both small and large groups, this is definitely spot where you can come kick it and hang for a minute. My friend and were immediately drawn to the smoothie and juice section. So many combinations to check out. I ended up going with the Diwan Smoothie (their most popular smoothie), and my friend got something similar that also added in some bananas. Going with the pot of tea was a great idea because it gave us more of the ambiance that I was going after. I think a to go cup would not have done that. It was the perfect amount of tea and I'm happy they had Splenda as an option for sweetener. The tea cup set was cute, too. The man with the glasses at the front was very helpful and told us the prices of the desserts, but ultimately, we decided to skip out on them. It would be helpful to have prices on the display case, because we wouldn't have to keep asking if they had them there. Another small constructive criticism would be to make sure that the bathroom is stocked with toilet paper-- the bathroom had none.
