Several cars had passed by, including a landscaping truck, which she ignored. However, when this landscaping truck drove down our quiet dead end street, it was going about 50 miles an hour, making a lot of noise (due to the excessive speed) with the trailer behind it. It was the noise and speed caused my dog to chase after it. The driver mowed her down did not even slow down or stop. He simply went to the end of the cul-de-sac and parked and watched me wail over her body in the street as she died in my arms. I moved her lifeless body to the side of the road and was out there wailing over her for about 90 minutes while the sheriff came and then animal control. The driver did not at any point acknowledge me, approach me or offer any form of apology. A neighbor spoke with him before the authorities arrived, and he was fully aware that he had hit my dog. When I contacted the company's owner, he claimed the driver didn't come over because he only spoke Spanish. There are many Spanish speakers in Florida, and I understand Spanish myself. He had no way of knowing if I could speak it, but he still didn't approach me. Communication can transcend language barriers, and a simple gesture of compassion would have been appreciated. The driver lied to the police about speeding, despite the fact that there are several cameras in this neighborhood which prove otherwise. When I spoke to the owner on the phone, I simply asked them to cover the cost of my dog's cremation but he adamantly refused to take any responsibility and then didn't even bother to respond to my email. If you love animals, I strongly recommend not using this company. Their true character has been clearly shown in their complete lack of accountability or any compassion. My 7 children lost our family dog in the most horrific way possible, in a violent, sudden and utterly preventable death right in front of our home. The spot on the street where her entrails stained it (despite repeated attempts at scrubbing it with bleach, soap and water it will not come out) is a constant reminder of this company's negligence and complete and utter lack of compassion.

His fix was glue and spray paint leaving my mailbox crooked and the door on the box wouldn't close. When I contacted him again, he refused to respond to my text messages. I had 2, 5 ft. trees in my back yard, and this was also ran over by one of the workers, when I sent the pictures to Adolfo, he ignored it again and did nothing about it. I had gutters put on my house, again the workers ran over the gutter knocking it off the wall. This is the worst company I have ever death with. Apparently I'm not the only resident he has done this to in my neighborhood. I do not recommend this company AT ALL or else it will cost you more than you are paying.

That said, we went with them because they seemed like they knew the most and had the best plan. The installation was a nightmare: took 3 times as long as it should have, they damaged my landscape beds, they kept asking ME for advise on the electrical wiring portion of it (i am not an electrician...), etc. We have around 25 lights and the system was SUPPOSED to be expandable as we have additional transformers, etc. About one month after the install I discovered that several of the wire run were done in 14 gauge wire, which is below the recommended gauge, especially for long runs (which should be at LEAST 12 gauge even for short runs according to EVERY LED fixture manufacturer.) When I called the owner of the company about it, he essentially told me that they don't count on customers investigating the system after install, and claimed that the system is expandable, but that new wire runs would be needed (which I would have to pay for). My response was that that's not expanding, it's REPLACING. To their credit, most of the system is fine, but almost $7K spent with these guys on a brand new system, and now I am going to have to do new wire runs less than 2 months after install. I asked to see his work and he gave me addresses of other driveways he had completed in the area -- they looked great. In January, he said that they would start the last week of March and they were able to get going the first week of April -- impressive foresight and accuracy given how supply chain is jacked up these days. The concrete driveway took about a day to destroy and take away. The brick pavers (Belgard) took about two days to lay. After a couple of days of letting the concrete dry and avoiding poor weather, they sanded and sealed (twice) the pavers. We waited a few more days to drive on them. The whole process took about 10 days, which I thought was impressive given the poor weather at points. Paul was wonderful to work with. He was thoughtful and helpful -- answered questions and was reliable. There was a broken irrigation pipe underneath the pavers that he capped/fixed for us and help us think through other irrigation issues. He went above and beyond. The compliments we've gotten from the neighbors have been amazing -- I couldn't recommend Matao and his team more.
