Thank you thank you thank you! Cannot say enough good things about Christian and Lloyd and their work on our sprinkler system! You see, I had come through and accidentally weed whacked a sprinkler head on our system. The wife had punctured a hole in a line feeding our flower beds out front. Which caused geysers of water and a lack of pressure in much of the rest. The grass wasn't growing, the HOA was unhappy, and I was working too hard. Enter the Lawn MD guys. In less than an hour, they'd repaired and replaced every sprinkler head and system part that was damaged. They improved the spray and height and exposure for the water, showed us how and where it wasn't working right, what they improved, when to water and not to water, and even explained the timer settings and exactly how to use it. Even gave us recommendations for when and how to improve the soil conditions. And then the damages. They were less than HALF of what we initially budgeted for. $150 for the complete service?!? They seriously did more work replacing the parts for cheaper than what I'd priced out for my own part buying. If I had known, I'd have called them A LOT SOONER. Seriously. You should, too. read more

While they do good work, are very kind, I do NOT recommend them. They charged us more than twice the amount on the cost of a brand new timer (Hunter PC-400), and overpriced the rain sensor, which would only make sense if we weren't already being charged for labor ($95 hourly) and the initial service charge ($40). I expect the valves ($75) are also a price gouge. They did not bring the parts they needed on the first day, and could only come back a week later, which is disappointing because we were flexible and agreed to change the appointment timeframe on the first day so they could make their other appointments work. They also misquoted us on the timeframe expected to complete the job on the second day. All in all, 4 new valves and a timer cost us nearly $1,000. I'm happy to remove this review if the owners can explain why they feel this price gouge is fair business practice. read more

Our irrigation system timer was no longer working correctly. We got a bill for $440 last month. Simon came out and advised the timer needed to be replaced. He also went through the heads and found a few that needed to be replaced. He recommended the Rachio timer. It monitors the local weather and adjusts your irrigation to not run if there is rain in the forecast. We hope it will save us money in the long run. read more

What a pleasant surprise - a completely competent and knowledgeable irrigation company. Simon is friendly, and serviced and adjusted my sprinklers. Also (under no pressure whatsoever) I purchased a web based irrigation control system. It is a smart home device which figures out when to water for the best lawn. I was irrigating twice a week and 2 times on each watering day because that is what the old company set it for. No wonder I have mold and fungus in the lawn and have to treat that. They were absolutely fantastic! After receiving quotes to spend money on items that wouldn't have helped us whatsoever from Massey we felt the need to seek a second opinion. Lloyd just came out to sleuth out an irrigation problem for us ... we had a sprinkler zone that wasn't working. In an hour, he found and fixed the issue, and repaired a few sprinkler heads/bubblers that were either broken or needed to be adjusted. Awesome service and super friendly guy. Lloyd and Christian came out to relocate 3 zones, replace a solenoid on a zone that was not getting power plus an overall evaluation of the system. We had dreaded getting our sprinkler system repaired for a year. It's a necessity, but one we were afraid would be overly costly. On the recommendation of a friend, we contacted Lloyd at The Lawn MD, and we're glad we did. With parts and two hours of labor, we were about $200 -- far, far less than we'd feared or imagined. He charges only about $72/hour, and puts in a full hour's hard work. Add to that, he's friendly, courteous and professional. We bought a house and the irrigation system was a mess- leaks all over and broken heads. Lloyd had to dig up 4-5 section and pipe and replace and fixed several heads all for around $300. Lloyd was on-time and extremely knowledgeable. After replacing two valves I still had one zone that didn't work correctly. He kept working until he found the issue. After replacing old rotor sprinklers with the correct sprinklers for the zone he was able to create the correct water pressure which led to a broken sprinkler in the backyard I didn't know existed. Lloyd and Christian were prompt, professional, and efficient. I had some major disruptions caused by roots and they resolved the problems with valve replacements, rewiring and a couple of hours of hard work. Lawn MD is not cheap. I had cheaper proposals that ended up costing me a lot more and with the problem not resolved and the system not functioning. I would place their prices in the fair range and worth every extra penny. I was looking for a "good & honest" company to fix & replace my sprinkler system that was very old and in desperate need of some TLC. I had a lawn service company treat my lawn due to "chinch bugs" and the sprinkler system did not work properly. I called "The Lawn MD " because of the reviews. Lloyd was very knowledgeable. We're new home owners and discovered that one of our zone was not working. The only thing we knew about our system was how to set and turn the timer on. From the moment I called to set up an appointment until the moment they finished they were very professional, caring and courteous about the process. They communicate extremely well and truly care about getting it right. After I explained the situation to them over the phone, Lloyd let me know that it should be about a 2 hour job. In my head it seemed like my situation was way worse than that. Low and behold by the time Christian, the technician, came out it only took him about 1.5hrs to repair.
