The dog park was very nice but is located a very long way from the RV area. A lot of the walking to get there is on pavement - too hot for paws on a midday walk in July. This is the BEST consignment store I have been to and that includes Central Texas and East Texas…read more We no longer live in the Burnet area, we are back in the Tyler area. The one thing I miss the most is Dragon Tails! We were always able to find nice items for me and my adult daughters in our Small, Medium, and Large sizes. Too, for our three grandkids we could find toys, book, clothing and shoes. We were always able to shop with my grandkids in the store. The ladies there are so sweet, and would carry on conversation with my grandson while we shopped. I am going to tell you what is different about this store. Most stores in the Tyler area buy your clothes from you. I do not like that. Those clothes and shoe selections are worn and too high for what they are asking. Dragon Tails is a consignment, and the prices for what I am buying are always better than these other stores. I found them when I came to Burnet when we were there at the square downtown for Christmas, that was in 2022. Since, I have never found a store so organized, great choices, clean clothes that still look great, with exceptional prices. I would give anything to have the owner start up a store in Tyler, Texas. I feel so deprived now because I can't get down there to shop like I used to. The one star someone gave this store, from a customer that was a regular, how sad. Dragon Tails has plenty of returning customers, and from one that doesn't even live in Burnet anymore, this is one store that I am very impressed with.

I love the fact that the people here are very nice and they work hard at finding what you're wanting to buy for your home. Also you can call them and make an appointment which I've done in the past and it works better that way they'll have plenty of time with you to seek and find you the items that you want to buy. It was my first multi-state trip in my RV so I wasn't sure what to expect. The park is clean and quiet with a very nice dog park. I checked out the park while I was there and picked a few sites I would like for my next visit. I booked and paid for another stay 5 months in advance. Again, they tried changing my site saying the agreement says they can do that. I was told they would make more money renting that site to someone else. After praying about it, I decided to cancel my reservation and find another place to stay. I was giving them 3 months' notice. I was told I would have to pay a penalty for the cancellation. I called to follow up on my cancellation; I happened get the management company who was very surprised the way I was being treated. I realized the first time they changed my site they moved me from a Premier site to a Standard site. I was never offered nor did I receive a refund for the difference. I explained the whole situation to the management company and they were very helpful. I am receiving a whole refund. They also manage the new site I reserved. I think it is very sad that you have an RV park that sells itself with the convenient location, clean and quiet facility and you feel the need to cheat people for a few extra dollars. The $30 dollars you cheated me out of on my first stay has cost you a repeat customer. And your terms and conditions nor your cancellation policy say you have the right to change the site as you please. I received such helpful service from the management company that I wasn't going to leave a review, but I hope this will help another traveler who may find themselves in a similar situation. God bless and safe travels. Donna C

#WhereAreLoveyAndMillieHowlNow #sunoutdoorslaketravis…read more We are on a year long trip throughout the continental United States in an RV and thought it might be helpful if we added reviews of places we've gone or stayed from a dogs perspective. So here we go The humans booked us right outside of Austin, Tx at the Sun Outdoors Lake Travis RV park and we have to say we give this place 's from a dog perspective one of the things we loved the most were the 3 dog parks, so space for all of us regardless of personalities. Each dog park has a few big trees for shade, picnic bench for the humans to sit & bags and trash close by. While there are no jungle gyms for us to play on, we are ok with that as that gives us more room to run off the crazies. Also no water bowls @ 2 of the parks, but the largest did have a water bowl along with a doggie wash station The park had nice wide roads throughout so the humans can walk us and if there are any other dogs, each can pick a side of the road if needed! Also a nice off road walking path. RV site - nice and enough room between RVs so you don't feel on top of your neighbor. Usually a tree or two per site, picnic table, and grass at our site. Only downside, no fire pit but it was warm out so we didn't really miss it. Humans are happy tho, 50amp service, great water pressure, and sewer available at each site AND daily trash pick up RV park - nice wide roads, no low overhanging branches, gravel site but level enough and enough room for a 42' trailer + truck Took about 20-40 mins to get to downtown Austin depending on traffic. Pool and jacuzzi for the humans, along with a airstream cafe at the pool! also a gym and a clubhouse, again for humans We would definitely stay here again, everyone was nice and the park was kept in great condition #bringfido
