Our BAR server was inattentive and seemed annoyed by our presence. Drinks took forever and the main dishes came out barely warm, as if they'd been sitting under a warmer. To top it off, the restaurant was dirty. The floors were sticky, the bathroom was a mess, and the general ambiance felt more like a fast-food joint after a high school rush than a place you'd expect quality dining. P.F. Chang's used to mean something. Sadly, this location has completely lost the plot. Do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else in Southlands--literally anywhere.

As the vacancies were remedied by upstart south Boulder branches of several popular eateries and a major grocery along with the relocation of a few other businesses, it began to fill up. And then the Center itself began a major remodel a year ago. Redesigned parking, landscaping, sidewalks, entrances etc and it is now mostly done. I find myself using this shopping center much more again. Under the Sun, Pharmaca, Sweet Cow, Shuttles, Spindles and Skeins, the venerable Weaver's Dive and Travel and Neptune Mountaineering. And the brand new branch of Moe's Bagels and at this time of year, a convenient H & R Block. I see lots of patrons at Southern Sun, Walnut Cafe Southside, Murphys South, Snarfs, Play it Again Sports and of course, the big new Luckys. I am glad to see this renovation. I used this center a lot back in the 80's when there was a family owned bookstore, a children's clothing store, a mini department store (Eakers), a Hallmark Card shop, a Baskin Robbins, etc. It looks so good again. I will certainly be shopping here as there are now so many nice options.
