I went there for a flu shot and was very impressed with the cleanliness, efficiency, and overall upbeat demeanor of the pharmacist. The flu shot was relatively painless, quick, and easy. Special thanks and recognition should be given to pharmacist Scott Silver for an amazingly, positive experience in acquiring today's flu shot! I am thankful that the Stop & Shop pharmacy provides this important and convenient service.

Asked another employee to page him but never heard the announcement. Needless to say I will never go there again- I had to go to Whole Foods and pay more. Then I went for the MM fruit punch on add 4/$4- none on the shelf. Went to get a raincheck- clerk said he can't give one. Called the department who said it was on the header. I am disabled and it would be difficult to go back there and get it. Asked her to being it up to the front - what a sour looking face she had on that she had to do something for a customer. I used the self checkout and it kept breaking down. The clerk said this always happens. This used to be a good store but no longer.

I especially love that they have their own parking lot, it's a relief not to have to worry about parking every time I visit. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming!! every time I go, someone chats with me. I also love how adventurous I can be with their products. Trying out different types of hummus has become a fun routine for me! This Trader Joe's is conveniently located in a shopping center with T.J. Their vegan apple sauce pouches and fruit blend juices are amazing! If you're looking for a clean, friendly store with unique products and a great location, I highly recommend this Trader Joe's!

I would give 4.5 stars but no option to do so. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is that I would like to see more organic produce offered. I often head to the Milford Aldi for that, as they seem to get more in their store and more specialty items than West Haven does (e.g., non-Lunchables lunch kits, better and more selection of organic produce and meats). I know you can do it, West Haven ALDI! add it to your inventory, and people will buy it! thanks :-)

The moment we walked in, we were hit with a really chaotic environment. The aisles were dirty and the shelves were a total mess. As someone who gets anxious shopping in that type of atmosphere, I knew immediately I couldn't stay. We decided to leave without buying anything, but that's when things went from bad to worse. As we were walking out, another customer was entering the store with an item in their hand, which triggered the security alarm (likely because a cashier had been negligent and forgot to remove a tag). Suddenly, a younger employee came charging at us with an incredibly aggressive attitude. I've worked retail before, and you're taught to be polite and apologetic when investigating an alarm, but this guy was the opposite. When my man told him we didn't take anything, the worker just stayed confrontational. I finally asked, "Are you accusing us of something?" and he actually looked us in the eye and said, "Yes." An older manager simultaneously came out to tell the employee it was a mistake and that it was the other person who tripped the alarm, but the damage was done. Being falsely accused and approached so aggressively is completely unacceptable. This worker is honestly a liability, the next person they treat like this might not be as patient as we were. Would never recommend, would never come back!

I mostly came to sample their prepped foods though. They had way more options than I realized, including veg, chicken, and beef samosas, kebabs, curry puffs, and tandoori chicken. It looks like they had run out of quite a bit of their prepped foods too. Within 5 min someone helped me out. I got two veg samosas and a kebab. I was asked if I wanted them heated, which would take 5 min, and I said no. I paid and was able to walk out. This is a grocery store, so no place to sit and eat here. I left, heated up the food on my own. And it was great! Best samosa I've had in a while (filled with potato and standard samosa filling) and well flavored. The kebab was also great, well spiced and flavorful. It may have been a touch dry but frankly didn't detract for me. Let me start with by far the worst aspect of this store: the parking lot is a complete disaster…read more It's too small and tight and people always cut randomly across the lot because there's only one formal crosslane. I hate it. As for the store it's a decent store. The selection of packaged groceries from the Subcontinent is quite good, while the fresh vegetables are decent but not great. Anyway, overall we are fans of the store but the storeowners in this complex need to work with the landlord to improve the parking.

Mainline grocery aisles are all faced like military standing in attention. It is a picture perfect store that other chains should take lessons from. Only negative, cashier extremely rude to the point that she looked the other way and didn't even hand me the receipt. She put the receipt on the register and walked away from me. I get it, I'm a big gringo but I don't think my purchase of bakery products, deli cheese and tortilla wraps was offending anyone during lunch time. I didn't even ask for a bag. I dunno. Would be a 5 star experience if she just smiled at the very least. Cashiers are the last line of defense in any retail establishment. You can have a crappy experience throughout the store, complain about pricing etc and the cashier can brighten your day with just a smile and hello. This was the reverse. Great experience.
