We switched our home owners insurance from State Farm over to Walker Insurance this year…read more The main reason we switched is because it saved us about $150 per year, for even better coverage. However, we were overwhelmed by the level of service that Josh brought. He answered all of our questions and really made the switching process simple. If you are shopping around, I'd give these guys a look.

Best-Walker would do well to screen its employees and agents for professionalism before hiring…read more When I called the company last week to request cancellation of services, the person who answered the phone refused to give me her full name, her contact line (just the main number) or transfer me to a superior to help me when my own agent (who came from another agency and has been wonderful for over a decade) was on vacation. After her refusal, she hung up on me. When I called back and I protested about being hung up on, she replied, "You aren't a customer here anymore, so your complaints will fall on deaf ears...I'm not afraid of you." She then hung up on me again. If I had known that switching agencies due to a nearly 50% savings in premiums (nothing personal) would result in such rude and unprofessional treatment, I would not have chosen Best-Walker in the first place.

I then talked to Rick who then proceeded to scream at me. He berated me, yelling at me,shouting that he that did not care if I had all of the emails and texts between myself and Nick to show this was his fault. He continually interrupted by screaming so I could not speak. He would not let me get a word in, I had to shout to be heard. He was extremely volatile. I told him I would be contacting main office about his extreme behavior, he laughed, said go ahead, they wont do anything anyhow. This man needs to be fired or needs major anger management help. After being a lifelong customer (with the majority being with this agency), I have NEVER experienced this extreme incompetency and horrid behavior from agents. Do not go here unless you like to be verbally abused!!! The same day we received a letter stating we were going to be dropped by State Farm because of an insurance payout from our house being robbed in '2016 and then have roof damage from a really bad hail storm in '2020. WTF???!!! I thought that was what insurance was for?! Like a good neighbor State Farm is NOT ON YOUR SIDE!!! State Farm after 30 years and no problems was great. 2 problems in 5 years and they drop you. Not what my family and I expected in a good insurance company. Very disappointed and hurt. Life goes on I know but if this is the way they do business, I hope everyone knows.
