I purchased an auto policy through your insurance rep Brandon Back (via AAA/Safeco) 2 years ago…read more Recently I was contacted by the company informing me my rates were going up. I first contacted Brandon via email to inquire on what I could do to get my rate back down. After a few days, I called and left a voice message. several days later he got back to me (over a week total) and said we needed to wait to get closer to the auto renew date on my policy before we could do anything. Once that happened I reached out again via email. No response. I called and left a voicemail a week later - no response. I called several days later again and still no response. I then called the safeco 800 number and got to someone who was able to answer a few simple questions for me - took all of 5 minutes. Long story short I shopped for another insurance vendor and saved myself almost $200 on the same exact policy through Mr Brandon/AAA/safeco. To be honest, had Brandon gotten back to me with any response at all, I probably would have renewed even at the higher rate just out of convenience - however because Brandon chose not to respond to my simple inquiry, I decided to spend my $$ with another company. Bad customer service has its consequences. Hopefully this feedback will not go unnoticed.

DISHONEST - Find another mechanic…read more I made a sharp left turn and my brakes went out. AAA said it was the master cylinder and charged me almost $700 to fix it. One week later, I make a sharp left turn and the brakes go out. The guys at AAA stammered and loosely blamed it on the replacement part, but it was clear they ripped me off and they knew it. They fixed the brake line for no charge (for obvious reasons) beyond the initial amount. So, I was overcharged ~$500 for a problem that didn't exist.

I tried to start my 2020 Hyundai Tucson, when everything flickered. The vehicle failed to start,…read moreso I called AAA's Battery Service. The Tech came out, tested the battery and said it was good. He stated this would most likely be the alternator. Because of this, I had it towed to Columbia Hyundai, where I purchased it, which was $59.00. Columbia Hyundai had to do a diagnostic before anything else, which was $128.00. After their diagnostic was finished, they found it was the battery. They replaced the battery for $259.45. All together, I was out $446.45, because of AAA's misinformation. My wife contacted AAA and was told she or I would receive an email of the reimbursement form page to submit. We never did. I called AAA to find out what was going on and was contacted by "Member Relations" Agent. During this time, I was in the middle of a project for my building and had a hard time concentrating on the call. Long story short: The Member Relations Agent asked me to tell her what happened and I did. She then proceeded to ignore everything I had said, refused to reimburse me for anything, and said she would credit my account to renew for next year. Again, I was working on a project while she fast talked her way through this. I didn't think about what she had done, until I got home and realized I had been taken advantage of. This is AAA, and if anything, they are well known for watching out for people...not taking advantage of them. The misinformation they provided me, cost me $446.45 and they refuse to take responsibility. I was without my vehicle for 3 days and money. This isn't the AAA I had known through all my times I, my family or parents had been members of. I cannot with good conscience recommend AAA to anyone after what happened to me.

Wow...just Wow…read more Eleven years with this insurance agent and I never filed a claim for the house or car. Paid all of my bills on time. I took a job in another state while my Husband has stayed at the house in Ohio. I changed my car policy to the new state, but kept the house insurance. Then the harassing phone calls and emails started - Is the house on the market, is it empty, how can it not be empty if you moved? Somehow they believed I needed to confirm every 3-6 months that my house was not for sale. I explained the situation a couple of time (was actually asked if I was getting a divorce - Yeah, they are that awesome at customer service). When I called and asked for the emails and phone calls to stop since I would notify them if I put the house up for sale as my policy required - THEY CANCELLED MY POLICY MID-TERM. Wow... Please save yourself the hassle and find an insurance agent that actually cares about you and does not harass you. Henry's Insurance Agency will probably cancel your policy for no reason too.
