Cathy advertises herself as an expert on honeymoons/romantic vacations, but we had to tell her about the available free honeymoon package at the resort she recommended to us! We literally had to send her a link to the website. On a related note she had a hard time understanding the difference between the room types we were looking at. A little understandable since the rooms were the Preferred Club Junior Swim Out Pool View Suite and the Preferred Club Bungalow Swim Out Pool View Suite, but again this was at a resort she recommended and should have known extremely well. When we found an excursion on Travelocity we wanted to go on and asked her to book it, the price she first quoted us was higher than the price advertised on the excursion site itself (travel included). We were worried we might not be Covid-19 vaccinated by the date of our flight, and we asked Cathy about potentially rescheduling. We were just wondering what would be available, but she gave us a lot of attitude about it. Since Cathy booked our flights, we received no notification that our flights had been rescheduled more than a month before we were supposed to leave. Cathy never let us know this had happened, so we missed our first flight by about 20 minutes. We were the ones who had to identify available flights that would get us there the next day, but we lost a day and had to stay overnight in Newark. Cathy did split the cost of the hotel room with us at our insistence. Our stay at the resort was not a good one; their inattentiveness caused us even more stress throughout our stay there. This was not Cathy's fault unless you count the fact that she recommended the resort in the first place. All in all we probably did more work on scheduling our honeymoon than we would have without Cathy's help, plus a lot of added stress and a lost night in Newark.
